Symptoms

Cannot delete a delegate once a task item has been delegated. From the workspace home page, if a worklist task is delegated to another user it appears as though the delegate can be removed but the worklist task remains delegated.

Repro steps:
- Navigate to K2 Workspace home screen (populated with at least one task)
- Select the task and using the downarrow menu, click Delegate
- Add a delegate (the task item is properly delegated to that user)
- Select the same task again and reopen the Delegate menu option
- Click the downarrow menu option for the delegation to Delete the delegation
- Confirm that the item will be deleted
- Note that the delegate is no longer on the list
- Click OK to dismiss the dialog (alert confirms that the settings were successfully saved)
- Again click the downarrow menu option for the worklist task and select Delegate
- Note that the user is still delegated the task and was not removed
 

Diagnoses

Support was able to repro the issue in a VM exactly as described.
 

Resolution

This is a bug and has been mapped: Delegate: Cannot undelegate from Task List control in Workspace, and the iteration is flagged as product backlog.
