How can I save the value of a calculated field? I have the following:
I need the column "Security Group Name" stores the value of the calculated field I did. It displays the value correctly in the form but don't save in the list.

what's datatype of 'Security Group Name' list field?
make sure you do not have any other control on the form connected to the same list field
+2It is single line of text, a string. Before, I had a textbox control that was connected to that field but I removed.
It is working now, I'm not sure how... what I did was to drag textbox control again and unlinked with the security group name field and set up again the calculated field.
