Has anyone moved from K2.net 2003 to BlackPearl while some processes are still live?  Did anyone use the database migration utility with live processes?  I understand that you need to redeploy the k2.net 2003 processes in blackpearl, but what about ones that are still live?

I haven't moved any processes from one to the other but I think your best bet is to slowly migrate the processes from 2003 to blackpearl (keeping both running) and when moving them, modifying them to utilize the new blackpearl functionality.

Keep in mind that the migration utility is still in beta and we strongly discourage you to use it on your production data.  Also, when using the migration utility to go from K2.net 2003 to blackpearl, you need to have a clean (no processes) blackpearl db to convert to.

The migration utility is supposed to support migrating live processes.

That is correct, it supports migrating live processes.   But, keep in mind that it is still in beta.  There will also probably be a beta refresh for the migration utility before RTM.
