Symptoms

After being upgraded to the latest version of K2 Appit for SharePoint it was found that a specific Dashboard form had gone missing. In it's place was a simplified form that looked nothing like the original.
 

Diagnoses

Issue was discovered to be a problem with the K2 Form Viewer app part. After the upgrade to the latest version of K2 Appit for SharePoint, the app was removed and reapplied to the site collection. This removal caused the app part to become misconfigured.

 

Resolution

If the K2 Form Viewer app part requires reconfiguration, follow these steps:

1. On the main SharePoint landing page locate the "PAGE" tab, select this tab, then click the 'Edit' button.
2. On the edit page select the 'K2 Form Viewer' app part applied to the page.
3. On the app part, find the 'Quick Search' section. Filter by Form Name to find the form in question.
4. After the search has completed, locate the form, select it, then click 'Submit'.
5. The form should render as expected, click save to stop editing the SharePoint landing page.

After following these steps the form should render as expected.
