Symptoms

I am attempting to add some extension attributes as well as other AD properties such as GivenName and Surname to the UM User smartobject. I have followed all of the instructions located here:

Diagnoses

The Account Management SmartObject does not have a Read method associated with it. While you can write to the object using the above documentation, you cannot Read data.
 

Resolution

There is a K2 Market broker that was created for returning properties outside of the regular ones returned by the AAD Service read method. It can be found here: http://community.k2.com/t5/K2-blackpearl/Dynamic-Active-Directory-Service/ba-p/869
