This is a two part question.
First, is there any general documentation on using AD? For example, using a standard MOSS workflow (not K2), the user is presented with a dialog box where they can search and enter AD names to assign to the workflow. Is there an equivalent capability in K2?
Second, I set up a simple workflow that sends an email. Within the email body, I access the AD Smart Object to display an AD "user friendly name" based on an input "unique name". I get an error that Authorization failed. This is a dev environment and I have given myself all of the permissions that I am aware to give. As an aside, when I access Users/K2 from the object browser, I do not see all names that should be in AD. For example, my name is not there, though I am logged into my dev box as myself.
Any help would be appreciated.
