Accessing K2.NET from win32 client

I'd be interested in contacts from anyone using win32 applications to access workqueues and advance work items in a K2.NET process. To accomplish this, we are building a webservice wrapper for the K2ROM assembly.
Has anyone done this before? (hate to reinvent the wheel.) Is anyone using another approach?
