I need some assistance with ideas to create a button to run a workflow or do an action to connect to a PowerBI services portal and execute an action to open a certain workspace, then do a "File -> generate powerpoint".
where do I start? is it an API call?
BTW, I'm not referring to Nintex Hawkeye.. I want to connect to an actual Power BI portal.

What kind of "certain action" would this be? Generally I think you'd be using Nintex to get data into a list that PowerBI then looks at and always generates the same visualizations from.
Yeah, but what if I need to have a button or a link embedded within a form to simply connect to the BI portal, lookup a specific workspace and perform an action. I believe there should be a sort of Integration somewhere.. same thing if we are connecting to an API to update a ticket for example in zendesk or an action to create a record in a database.. My question if it is even possible with BI services?
