64 Bit Support

Hopefully we'll get some better answers from someone at K2, as well. Appears that "sometime in the future" is the current information available.

Will let you know if I find out anything.

Currently, my understanding is that various configurations have been attempted with results that indicate this is not a curently viable solution.

If anyone hears about 64 bit / x64 advancements, or other, I'll be thrilled to hear about it.

*** We are going to attempt to run it x32 against a 64-bit SQL server... anyone know specifics on this?

Actually, if there is at least one case that should be supported, awaiting a native 64-bit version, it should be hosting Blackpearl databases on a 64-bit SQL Server, so I hope you'll get successful!

Hi Scott,

64-bit SQL Server hosting the databases should be just fine.  You'll have to split your SQLServer Reporting Services out to a 32-bit environment though.

K2 [blackpearl] 64-bit BETA components are now available for download from the K2 Partner/Customer Portal(https://portal.k2workflow.com/downloads/betaDetail.aspx?id=37). These components will support 64-bit platform as well as:
• 64-bit SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services
• 64-bit SharePoint 2007 (WSS/MOSS)
• 64-bit K2 Server
• 64-bit K2 Workspace
