Nintex Workflow

Hi, I'm struggling to implement a custom date time format regular expression for the following format:MM/DD/YYYY, hh:mm AExample: 1/24/2023 11:30 AMI tried something this, but not sure how to implement it in a regex action:\d{2}/\d{2}/\d{4}\s+\d{2}:\d{2}\s+(AM|PM)I also tried to do it on a task form, however could not do it on a submit rule (its used for a comment log, so it has to be on the submit rule). Also tried the format date action, but it returns the seconds as well as a day behind from the current date time for some odd reason

Is there a mechanism to set a time limit for Workflow Life Cycle?  I want to know this on both: per individual workflow and per whole tenant.For example, if I have a workflow, can I set a time limit so that it will automatically Terminate if it was active for over 30 days?

 Nintex Automation Cloud has a great way of capturing data that you need to store back into your Saleforce organization. However, multi-picklist fields require the information to be stored back by having each value separated by a semicolon. I’m working on an Xtension and beginning to get frustrated with NAC’s treatment of quotes in JSON responses. I’m hoping that I’ve overlooked something, and that there’s a way to handle this without have to clean up the response that NAC produces. The API response is an array of objects with the id/name properties, looking like this:[{ "id": "20230205|32000|1", "name": "AdHoc" }, { "id": "20230206|32000|1", "name": "AdHoc" }] When NAC get’s this result through the xtension, the variables tab looks like this, which appears correct to me: However, when I log the “DailySchedule” collection to the instance details, it looks like this:["{\"id\":\"20230205|32000|1\",\"

I was wondering if there was a way of changing a Nintex forms background color by using a condition from a multiple choice?  for example, if option 1 was chosen it would change the background to orange if option 3 it would change to green 

I am trying to extract the email address of the People Control from a form within NWC.  I noticed the control is a collection variable so I used the loop to capture the item and I dropped that information into a variable where I displayed it in the log. I needed to see what it really was. CSS works on all the buttons except for Next or Submit . Mainly the color gets green when we hover. This doesn't for Next or Submit. Tried all the possible options. Hi Community,I am building a workflow that calls an external API using a custom Xtension.While the API calls sent through Postman work as expected, the same calls through Nintex Workflow are met with the error:Received an error response from the connector: Not allowed to execute the request for non permitted hosts.. [Error Code: IO.XtensionExecute.ErrorResponse]Alternatively, I have tried using “Call a web service” action using the same API call. It also fails to get a response. 

I have a workflow with a start event of Microsoft Exchange Online Received Mail. The criteria is “Subject contains some key words generated from a program”. The account receives about 10 of these emails per hour.I can match up the email received time with the instance time for emails that were received shortly before and after this one. But there is no instance in history that matches up with the time this email was received.The workflow was published many days before this happened, so it wasn’t a case of it being published at the time the email was received.I checked the Status on Nintex Customer Central and there was no outage at that time. (There was an outage a day before, but it appears that no workflows were missed, they were just backed up.)What would cause the workflow to not kick off?And how can I trust that all emails with that subject will indeed kick off the workflow? All I can think of for monitoring is somehow query the number

I need to create a css class to control the text of the selected option in a radio button - single choice control.  I cannot find any examples of how to achieve this.  I think if I have the proper class I could use Rules to control the text of the selected Option, like in the secreenshot below.  

I tried to use a people picker action on a NWC Task and I keep getting content fail to load message. It does work in the design preview of the task form.

Is there any way to specify the workflow initiator context variables (first name, last name, and email) when starting a workflow instance via the NWC API? We’ve started working with the API and it seems quite useful, but it doesn’t seem to take into account if I include the ctx_first_name, ctx_last_name, and ctx_email in my start data JSON object. The other start event variables work fine, but not the initiator info. When I start a workflow instance via API, it seems to only ever have the below info for the initiator.  "ctx_user": {    "ctx_first_name": "APP",    "ctx_last_name": "NWC Connection",    "ctx_email": "app.nwcConnection.XXXXXXXXXXXX@YYYYYY.com"  } I can imagine it may be doing that for the sake of truly representing where a workflow instance came from. I love that Nintex provides a roadmap for what’s on the horizon for their products. It’s definitely great to be able to see what’s coming and get a better understanding of where their current development focus is at.  We have a couple projects that we’re holding off on tackling until some of these roadmap features are released. That being said, the Nintex Automation Cloud section of the roadmap is still living in Q3 2022. Do any Nintex employees know when the roadmap may be updated for Nintex Automation Cloud? Also, is NAC the abbreviation we’re using now? Thanks!

Hi,I am trying to update dropdown value based on another dropdown value. Eg: I have a choice column TestA which has Yes and No as radio buttons and another column TestB which also has radio buttons with Yes and No values. If I select Yes in TestA, it should also check Yes in TestB. Any possible ways?Thank you! Appreciate your response!

Using the Exchange online send an email action, as I want a user to be able to reply to the email.But the design is such that I’m sending to multiple addresses held in variables, and sometimes one or more of those variables could be empty.  That’s throwing an error that the empty string cannot be resolved to a user, which must happen before an email is sent.How do we handle those sorts of scenarios without a hundred different “set conditions” to try to handle all the possible combinations of one or the other variables being blank (there are actually 4 different variables in my case, so I’d have a large number of potential combinations of things being filled while others blank, and any blank causes an error).  I originally thought to concatentate a string, but a string with multiple email addresses also throws an error.  Any guidance?

Hi All, Good DayI have question regarding Nintex cloud form, where we need to read multiple record from Sharepoint list and show it to the user in the Nintex form based on site id .For example :- for site 1234 I need to show all this record into the form with these information. As I can see the no option available (Data object) to read multiple record from Sharepoint list in Nintex form.Please advise if you have any suggestion on this.

This afternoon we’ve started seeing a lot of slowness related to actions that connect to external services (like querying a SharePoint list or updating a Smartsheet row.)  Actions that typically take a few seconds to run seem to be taking half an hour.  The Nintex Services page isn’t showing any current issues with the platform, so I’m not sure if it’s new or just our tenant.  Is anyone else seeing any actions take way longer to complete this afternoon?  Thank you! Update - Looks like the Nintex Services page was updated with the incident.  Please disregard!

Hi, Im trying to do some conditional formatting on the Outcome select in Nintex Workflow cloud using the forms based approval.I do not see the form controls or context to reference it in my formula. Is there another way to reference the Outcome in a Workflow based form? 

Greetings: The  default view of the workflows in my NWC tenant  dashboard is unfiltered, so I see a lot of workflows in various stages of development and testing as well as the ones that are in production.  I have created tags to apply as filters and this works great but there doesn’t appear to be a way to save a filtered view of the dashboard as the new default view).  It’s a royal pain to have to apply the same filters each time I click on the dashboard. Is there a way to set a filtered view as the default?
