I am using DocGen version 14.4.0, Salesforce classic and have experienced the same issue in both FireFox and Chrome. I have a complete Document Package that works perfectly.  However, the requestor has asked that I go back and add some additional text instructions to the form within the package.  When I edit the form and select the Add Note button the window appears for me to add my text, however, clicking OK or Cancel does nothing.  I have to refresh the page to get the box to go away.   Any suggestions?Thank you.

I have a Doc Gen package built off of main object of Opportunity. There is a master detail relationship from Opportunity to a custom object called "Equipment" (which is similar to SF Asset, also similar to a Opportunity Line Item, with some key differences) The point is there can be one or more Equipment records associated with a particular Opportunity. I am trying to use DocGen to generate a proposal document which references those (1...n) Equipment records in individual sections of the Proposal document. If there is 1 related piece of Equipment, this document should show that single record's info. If there are 5 Equipment records it is smart enough to loop through 1 to 5 to display each one. From digging through the site, I believe ??? it is possible to use field tagger, relationships and/or "row replication" to accomplish this but I haven't found clear documentation or a working example to go off on.  I need to know a) confirmation this is doable and b) a link to a suitable help or

Hello all. I'm a Salesforce consultant, and I'm using Drawloop Document packages for Salesforce for the first time. I've tried to read the documentation, but I'm so far unable to find the answer to my question. I'm trying to create an invoice document based on an Opportunity record with Opportunity Products. I'm able to create a merge template which works with all of my standard and custom Opportunity and Opportunity Products fields. Using the Scheduler in Drawloop can be complex so why not use a workflow to scheulde your documents to be sent out every (Day,Week,Month) at a specific time. This process is easy and can be custimed to fit your needs.  You will need a NWC Tenant and Nintex Drawloop Document Package.  If you have the required items you will need to setup the workflow.Start Event:Once you have set up the start event you will need to query your Salesforce Org. There are a few items that will be required to make this work correctly. Store Record Id -- Create a variable that is a collectionAlso, don't forget to add conditions. This is a filter to generate a document pacakage that meets the criteria.  Now that you have set up the query. Hello, I am trying to kick off a DDP to generate a PDF, which would be attached to a parent record.  I am doing this through Apex, and it appears that I can use the following to do so: Loop.loopMessage.send(appId, ddpId, new Map<string, string>{'deploy' => 'attach','SFApplication__c' => appId}); where appId  = the custom object record Id, ddpId is the Id of the DDP to run, and I have an "attach" delivery option specified. When I run this I get an all clear from Apex and the log gives me no information once the call is made.  I have no indication if this send message actually got called properly.  In addition, I don't know how I can monitor the job to even make sure it's running. Is there a code sample out there that would allow me to do what I'm looking to do - i.e. given a record Id, a DDP Id, and a deployment Id or deployment string, kick off a DDP and attach the PDF to the record Id I specify? Thanks, Scott

We have Nintex licenses and installed in our salesforce enterprise org. We also use salesforce CPQ (steelbrick) for quotes.  I created a quick delivery receipt. Our sales folks think that it should be in the exact format of the quote (from SBQ). Pulling quote line groups and line item data has been problematic, to say the least. I do not believe that the field relationships between steelbrick and nintex fields has been specified anywhere. I figured I'd ask what I was doing wrong here before I go to salesforce CPQ support. I'd prefer to use Nintex to generate a receipt. I've already generated a quote template in SBQ that has the feel I want, but using it breaks the workflows. Rather than troubleshoot that I'd ather have an easier Nintex Doc to upload. I've tried mapping to Opportnities, Quotes, Quotes (CPQ), and tied relationships to quote groups, line items, etc. and can't seem to get any fields populated on my docgen package. Any help or direction would be appreciated from this custom

I'm using Nintex for Salesforce. Is it possible to create an insert-update that will update a field on multiple child objects? Specifically, I'm trying to update a field on each Opportunity Product included in my Nintex document.  Thanks in advance!

I need to know if it is possible to modify the default email in the "From" field when using "Salesforce Email" delivery for a DDP. The DDP is run manually via a Saleforce page layout button. 

I created an IF statement in Word to return the price of a specific plan, but I can't get it to return the correct info.  In testing the formaula to understand why it wasn't working, I tried a simple statement to get it to return "True"  The simple statement is below:{ IF "<<Opportunity_LineItem_Product2>>" = "COMBO - Pricing" "True" "False" * MERGEFORMAT }The Opportunity_LineItem_Product2 does in fact = COMBO - Pricing, the problem I'm running into is that there are 4 different opportunity plans and Opportunity_LineItem_Product2 defaults to the first one which is why my formula returns FALSE because the plan I'm trying to call out happens to be 3rd in the list.

We have a custom object with six record types and there are six templates, one per record type.  Our plan is to use Mass to generated documents.  We want a button on a list view that will use the template based on record type.  Is this possible?  Do we need to use a single template, rather than six, with the conditional logic included in the template?

I wrote a Salesforce Email template and we want to use the nintex syntax <<Account_Informal_Greeting>>. But upon running a test of the DocGen package, the end result email does not still says <<Account_Informal_Greeting>> instead of the contact's preferred name. Is there a work around or is Salesforce syntax my only option? Thanks!Amanda

We are using Drawloop to generate a multi-tab Excel document out of Salesforce.  We need to run the report numerous times throughout the day as information is updated. We are finding it cumbersome to run a "test" each time we want the report.  Is there an easier way to get the report without having to go through the test process?  Ideally it would be like running any other report out of Salesforce.

How do you add fields to a PDF Template?  It says its like the Excel format in the Field Tagger.  But what or where do you name the field in the PDF.   If for word it is example: a Case #, api is Case_CaseNumber so for word its <<Case_CaseNumber>> For a PDF it suggests excel so no arrows just Case_CaseNumber .   So that didn't create a merge.  So where do I name the field in the PDF? Thanks, Gary

I'm looking for a solution that would automatically include an account specific logo on a DDP template in Salesforce. In this instance the templates are word documents. Any ideas?  The purpose of this is that I'm trying to avoid a situation where I need to create separate word templates for each account/logo - document control becomes an issue. All help would be much appreciated! 

I have 20 DDPs in my Salesforce org. Out of those i need to show only 3 to the user in the section of "Select the DDP to run". Out of the 3 , 2 DDPs should be shown by default and the remaining 1 should be shown based on a specific condition(This is handled by me). I require assistnace for dipalying those 2 default DDPs for everyone.

I've been using the Document generation action for a while and have been able to successfully generate documents. Business has been testing a solution which relies on this document to generate documents, I had a case yesterday where a user ran the workflow was able to generate one document with success but unfortunately the workflow failed to generate the second document and threw this error stating : "Internal error occurred. Additional information: ''. I have searched and been unable to find a solution to this error. Has anyone come across this before, please help to resolve this.

We have DocGen for Salesforce installed in our Sandbox so far, but we have licences purchased for Production too. Since our initial use case we have discovered a number of others. One of these would theoretically involve a Docgen process to run at the point that a record is created (e.g. Invoices records are created in a custom object in SFDC with the data being fed through from our ERP nightly. We would like to be able to create and store a PDF copy. As the record is created we would somehow like to invoke a process that would allow the document to be created automatically without the need to manually generate it. Is this possible? If so where / how would I educate myself on how to do this? Many thanks Stephen

I have a request from a client to do the following: If the "Freeze Opportunity" (custom field) field on the Opportunity is checked, noone of a particular profile should be allowed to execute the Create Docs button from the Opportunity page. It should instead generate a error message "Cannot generate docs yaddayadda". They are a lightning only customer, so I cannot create a JS action tied to the button. Is there any functionality in nintex to control executing the document creation button outside of just making the button layout dependent?

I have an email alert that is automatically sent out via a Salesforce Process. I would like to generate a Drawloop doc and attach it to the email alert. Is this possible?

Using a Word template with Drawloop, and displaying a field (from a Salesforce object) that has 4 decimal places. Only 2 of the 4 decimal places are being rendered.  How do I need to treat the field to render all 4 decimal places?

Hi, For Document Generation for Salesforce you can select different delivery methods. I am wondering if somebody can tell me if there is a solution to send the document on creation direct to a printer? Thanks for tips etc,
