Hello Friends! I have a rich text field in a custom object record where the user inputs an image. I need that image to transfer over to the Drawloop Word doc when "Generate Documents". Any suggestions? Or better yet, is it possible? I would love it if someone could get back to me ASAP as I am on the clock with one of my clients!! Thank you! Shannon

I've used SOQL to successfully build a relationship between my main object and child objects through a junction object. Each of those children has children, so I want to use the SOQL relationship to replicate a table (which works) and a second SOQL relationship to replicate the grandchildren as rows.  However, only the same grandchild record is replicated in the tables.  So it should be Table A has row a and Table B has row b, but what I have is Table A row a and Table B row a. Does that make sense? Any guidance is appreciated!

Is there a way to minimize spacing between groups in word? I have group type on quote line items, grouped by name because this seems to be the only way to avoid duplicate quote line items name on the document. Hi, When I execute the apex code to generate a Drawloop document using Loop.loopMessage works when I am in Salesforce classic but not if I trigger the logic in Lightning. I keep getting the error: "The included Salesforce Session Id is invalid or has expired.  If you continue to receive this error, please have your salesforce.com administrator verify that ""Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated"" is not checked in your Salesforce security settings: Setup -> Administrative Setup -> Security Controls -> Session Settings" I have checked and we don't have this option checked. Do you know what else could it be?

I've set up Salesforce Partner Communities for my client, however the DDP button on a custom object is not functioning.  I've switched the licenses over to the partner users, given read and edit access to all of the Nintex package custom objects, and have selected the required system permissions (as outlined in the Nintex Doc Gen documentation) using a permission set. When the DDP button is clicked, it goes to a page saying the community is "Down for Maintenance".  Does anyone have any insight as to how I can get this to work?  Thanks

Is it possible to put a table inside a component group? 

I have several document packages that have form fields. But these document packages not available in the lightning component. Is it on the roadmap to add forms to the lightning component? lightning# 

Extend FTP FunctionalityDoc Gen looks like it works great if you have BOX for Cloud Storage.  If you have another provider like I do (Egnyte), there does not seem to be any plug and play way to setup content delivery in a structured way.  The only available option is to setup FTP under 3rd party integrations. Unfortunately, this only gives you the ability to statically deliver to one location.  Given Doc Gen's capabilities, this should be simple to setup folder structures based on variables, etc.

This is a feature request.  It would be really a great feature for doc gen to work with macro-enabled Word Docs.  Right now when you try and run a DDP over a macro saved Word Doc in Salesforce, all you get is a doc full of Drawloop tags.  No data.  

We are using Salesforce and Nintex for Document generation. We are tagging an Excel Document with data from a custom object. It is working as designed. However, we have run into an interesting request. We want to only display data in the Spreadsheet based on there being data to display. For example, let's say that a field in our custom object contains data then we want to display this row in our Excel spreadsheet. If a field on our custom object in SF does not contain data then we do not want to display the data row. Now we understand that we can use conditional logic such as an IF statement to 'hide' data but this does not solve the issue as the row is blank and still visible as blank. Effectively from an Excel perspective, we want to either hide the row rather than the field containing the data tag.  We know this can be done with a Macro and VB in Excel but our understanding is that the Nintex platform does not support the automatic execution of such functionality. Hi all, I have a DDP set up to run off a custom object and generate a document in Excel. We have a related custom object to track loan transactions, which we'd like to push to Excel, with each transaction in it's own row. Using the document tagger, I'm using the replicate row option (Loan_Transaction_Start) across all columns of data for the Loan Transaction. For the specific record I'm testing with, I have two related loan transactions. When generating the document in Excel, two rows are created, however only the first row is populated with data. The second row is completely blank.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?  Thanks,John

I have been using Nintex Document generation and it has been working successfully. The only issue I have is when trying to update a document with rich text field data which contains text and images, I have been unsuccessful in doing so. It does not seem possible for some reason, not sure if anyone else has experienced this. Please can the community assist me with a solution for this issue or a possible workaround.

I'm new to DocGen, and I think it has the potential to be extremely useful throughout my organization, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up a Word template in such a way that I can pull information from multiple objects of the same type.   Let's say I have an object called "Client Contact," and within that object are entries for Jane Doe and John Smith, both of whom work for Employers Inc.  Within the entries for Ms. Doe and Mr. Smith are a number of fields (e.g., name, DOB, date they joined Employers Inc., mobile phone, home phone, email address, etc.).  (I should note here that my use case does not involve clients or their personal information, but the principles are the same.)  I'd like to include in my Word template selected pieces of this personal info for each client contact, and I'd also like to include their names at several points throughout the generated document.  However, the way I've been setting up my DocGen packages, the field tags generated in Salesforce ar

I have a DDP in Sandbox and Production. They contain 270+ components with specific logic for each component. Production is the most current due to small language tweaks.  I need to make modifications to the Production DDP, but of course, don't want to do that actually in Production.  I'd like to:1. Deleted the DDP from Sandbox (I don't want re-fresh the Sandbox because I'll lose all of my test data of 200 records - multiple relationships, etc.)2. Migrate the DDP from Production back to Sandbox3. Edit about half the existing 270 components (adding a new line of criteria and adjusting the logic)4. Test everything 5. Migrate Sandbox back to Production to simply update the existing components. IMPORTANT: I don't want to create a new/duplicates DDP or duplicate components. Is this approach logical/do-able AND most importantly fail-safe?!? Thank you,jt

We are using this to generate legal documents. Here is the structure of things: Case ...Point of Contact (links accounts and contacts to the case, for example 2 Defendants, both Defendants Attorneys/Law                Firms and an Insurance company with that Insurance company's claim #) .......Affiliation (links different points of contacts to each other, for example a Defendant1 and their Attorney1 and                    their Insurance account) On the Point of Contact object, there is a relationship established to the 'Affiliation' object.  One of those relationships is for Insurance.  The claim # for the Insurance is currently stored on the Point of Contact object.  PROBLEM: When I generate a document from the Point of Contact Defendant 1 record, it pulls in Attorney 1 and the Insurance.  However, I can't get the Claim#.  I created a formula field on the Affiliation object to house the Point of Contact Claim#. Hello all. I'm a Salesforce consultant, and I'm using Drawloop Document packages for Salesforce for the first time. I've tried to read the documentation, but I'm so far unable to find the answer to my question. I'm trying to create an invoice document based on an Opportunity record with Opportunity Products. I'm able to create a merge template which works with all of my standard and custom Opportunity and Opportunity Products fields. Hello, I am trying to kick off a DDP to generate a PDF, which would be attached to a parent record.  I am doing this through Apex, and it appears that I can use the following to do so: Loop.loopMessage.send(appId, ddpId, new Map<string, string>{'deploy' => 'attach','SFApplication__c' => appId}); where appId  = the custom object record Id, ddpId is the Id of the DDP to run, and I have an "attach" delivery option specified. When I run this I get an all clear from Apex and the log gives me no information once the call is made.  I have no indication if this send message actually got called properly.  In addition, I don't know how I can monitor the job to even make sure it's running. Is there a code sample out there that would allow me to do what I'm looking to do - i.e. given a record Id, a DDP Id, and a deployment Id or deployment string, kick off a DDP and attach the PDF to the record Id I specify? Thanks, Scott

I have an email alert that is automatically sent out via a Salesforce Process. I would like to generate a Drawloop doc and attach it to the email alert. Is this possible?

Using a Word template with Drawloop, and displaying a field (from a Salesforce object) that has 4 decimal places. Only 2 of the 4 decimal places are being rendered.  How do I need to treat the field to render all 4 decimal places?

Hi, For Document Generation for Salesforce you can select different delivery methods. I am wondering if somebody can tell me if there is a solution to send the document on creation direct to a printer? Thanks for tips etc,

We intend to automate the generation of emails.  No buttons for users to click.  Once the data meets the correct criteria, the email is to be sent.  Using Outbound Messages and workflow.  To do this, I need to auto-populate the To and Subject fields of the email. How can I do this?  Is this included in the formula field used in the Outbound Message?

Our existing Output Filename fields for DDPs are tagged in the following naming convention:DocuSign - <<Contact_LastName>>, <<Contact_FirstName>> Employment Agreement <<Today__v>> This has worked for years. Today I noticed the filename that's actually being generated is adding the name of the selected attachment file to the end of the naming convention. How do we fix this to stop adding the attached file name? example:  DocuSign - Monroe, Marilyn Employment Agreement 04-24-2018 - Monroe, Marilyn.pdf

My understanding is that DocGen for Salesforce currently does not support secured .pdf template files nor does it have the functionality to secure them during the document package run. My users spend too much time securing .pdfs after forms are generated. Seems like this would be a good feature to have.  Can anyone from ‌ comment on future roadmap or roadblocks to making this available?  Thanks Doc
