Hi,I am getting below error when i try to deploy process through K2 Designer For Visual Studio.Error 1 A database error occurred : The transaction log for database 'K2' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases.In Application Event Viewer i found below error:K2LogServer::ServerThread: 24129 A database error occurred : The transaction log for database 'K2' is full. K2 DB's Transaction Log is Growing at an Alarming Speed

Hi, I have this problem that the Transaction Log for the Database K2 is growing at an exceptional rate. Once installed and my workflow is uploaded. Within 10 minutes the Log's size has already suppassed the DB's size. And within a few days time, it grows to an astonishing 6GB size while the DB's size is still at a mere 20MB. Can someone tell me whats wrong here? Does escalation rules that has timing set to minutes affect this?

Symptoms Unable to copy/select data label text in FireFox Diagnoses The user cannot select a text a copy it in FireFox. Resolution Issue has been logged as a bug. this will be fixed in the next update.Workaround: Use any other browser.

Add List Item Attachments to a flexi-task

I am trying to add list item attachments to a flexi-task in a workflow and am not having success. I have followed the instructions found on both Vadim's blog, https://community.nintex.com/message/11781?sr=search&searchId=8f40e619-22f1-4be1-b2a2-5c8ab1890e37&searchIndex=1#11781 , and https://community.nintex.com/message/14770?sr=search&searchId=8f40e619-22f1-4be1-b2a2-5c8ab1890e37&searchIndex=3#14770 . Nothing is working. What am I doing wrong? Why are the list item attachments lost when using Nintex forms on flexi-tasks? Thanks in advance for all help and responses.

How to increase default file size limit for File Attachment Control in K2 SmartForms

Symptoms Sometimes it may be necessary for you to increase maximum allowed attachment size for K2 SmartForms. There is a section in K2 Appit documentation which covers File Attachment Control settings and limit configuration thoroughly: K2 Appit http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2appit/userguide/current/default.htm#sf-viewcontrols-fileattachmentwithprogress.html But K2 Appit has slight differences with on-prem K2, and in this specific case, for example, you won't be able to find Allowed Type and Max Size properties exposed in design time control properties in on-prem version of K2 SmartForms. And there is no similar documentation section for K2 SmartForms on-prem. Diagnoses This limit can be increased on the K2 SmartForms Runtime site level by means of editing runtime web.config file. Filtering People Picker to Single Domain

I’ve run into a bit of an issue with the people picker on a form. In our organization we have multiple user domains in active directory. The domains that the people picker queries can only be configured at a web application level and as such it has been setup to query all the domains. I now have a form with a few people fields on it and I want to restrict those fields to only query users in one specific domain and haven’t had much luck. I’ve tried the following with no success:Modify the peoplepicker-searchadforests property using stsadm but this can only be configured at a web application level which won’t work as I don’t want to create a second web app just for managing this type of form field.Filtering the People or Group field on the list by specifying a SharePoint group. This can’t be done because I want all domain users for one specific domain. I did try adding All Domain users to a SharePoint group and assigning that as the SharePoint Group for the field but it doesn’t work

Nitex forms used to load fine all these days but starting today we see the error. no changes were made at the site level.Due to this I am unable to edit list forms using nintex.

Installing K2 - How much time should I plan?

Hello, a quick question, have any of you installed a K2 environment yourselves? If so: how many hours should I plan for the actual installation/configuration knowing that it will be my first K2 installation and it is a simple DEV environment (so we wouldn't need a high number of servers)? This is without setting up the server infrastructure (we already have the servers up and running).

Nintex Forms – load SQL Server table contents into repeating section

This post is a “how to” tutorial, showing how can a data from SQL Server table be loaded into a “Repeating section” control in Nintex Forms. Needless to say, having that data inside the control allows then to manipulate it and treat each row as a single record, thanks to the possibility of saving contents of the control as XML. The solution I created was a bit more advanced than just importing data from SQL into repeating section, as it was allowing to make bulk edit/ delete operations on the loaded data. Hide Repeating Section Rows based on Dropdown Value in Repeating Section

Hello, I'm wondering if this is even possible. I built a form for customers to request work for their projects. My plan is for each project to have it's own form. If a customer comes back for more work down the line, they just need to input a new request, not all the specific data related to their project. The request section of the form is a repeating section. This will allow us to track all the requests a specific project team has input over time. The repeating section collects some data which includes a "Status" dropdown field that has values of Submitted, Development, Testing, Complete. What I would like to know is if the repeating section row has a value of "Complete" for the Status field, can I hide those rows so that only ones that are active are showing? Thanks, John

Button Click: Clear the contents of a Multi-Line Text Box

Hi Folks, I have a form and a reset button in one of the sections. The button should clear a Checkbox, a text field, a date field, and a multi-line text field. Does anyone have any advice on how one would change my function to clear the MLT connected to Rich Text

hello , i am building nintex workflow for sharepoint 2019 and i am using the action set workflow status to set custom string value in each step in the workflow e.g waiting manger approval , waiting Ceo approval etc . the problem that after ruuning the workflow the value i have set before not updated in the status column in the task list just i see the following status running ,completed ,in completed so how to resolve this issue ? thank you

Update Document checkbox

Hi,We plan to fill values from workflow variables into an existing Word form. There are many checkboxes where we want to assign boolean values. Unfortunately the checkbox is always replaced by the boolean value text (true/false) instead of being checked or unchecked.Is there a type of conversion to preserve our checkbox controls in the Word template?ThanksRoman

Workflows getting duplicated when deploying from TEST environment to PRODUCTION environment in K2 cloud

K2 Version: K2 Cloud Update 19 FP02 Workflow is getting duplicated when deploying from TEST environment to PRODUCTION environment in K2 cloud.This is creating confusion as there are multiple workflows in designer and while I try to open , it doesn’t seem to show the latest changes from test environment. The same when I checked in K2 Management, the newly deployed version shows the newly added tasks :O I want to get rid of these duplicates safely without affecting the users as its production environment. I also want to make sure ,since the latest and default version in K2 management shows the latest changes, it will work as expected. If anyone one has faced similar issue, please share on how you fixed it. Any help would be much appreciated!!Thanks

This is an update of the "process instance version migration utility" originally created by NeilM and subsequently modified by Jacob Behrnes and Steve H.The version 3.0.4 contains the following changes:-Check if Data Fields are compatible between the 2 versions before the migration. Create Custom Login form

Hi, We have a worfklow and SmartForms integration.Forms trigger workflow and goes to different stages. At approval stage when approver (may be current logged in user) clicks on Approve button , the requirement is to verfiy that user's credentials again by poping up a form for entering username and password field. Also that form will show readonly informatiom about that user (user profile fields like designation,location etc.) Looking at some post on the community I tried to use AD samrtObject where I am able to get information about user properties but I am stuck with password.How I will validate the password entered by user. I mean validation mgith be against AD. set minimum and maximum number of characters in a multiline text box

I have a multiline text box on my form. I need to ensure the users enters at least 250 characters but a maximum of 500 characters. Any suggestions...please

Require comment on task not working

I have a flexitask to which I have added a More Information outcome in addition to the standard Approve and Reject outcomes. I have set the Reject and More information outcomes to require comment, however I am able to complete the task without adding a comment. I am using a custom task form, as well, so I decided to put a validation on the Comment to force the requirement with a form rule. But this also is allowing the task to be completed without entering a comment. Any suggestions? Screenshots attached.
