Ajay,

I'm not 100% sure I understand the context, but if you are attempting to simply store a value and reference it, then you would need to use a workflow variable.  If you are using Nintex Workflow 2013, then you also have the ability to create workflow constants that can be reused across  the farm.

sorry, i was bit unclear about the query.

ok, so what i was trying to say that can we "query a list" and store the data in some kind of hashtable instead of using collection variable.

something like below

Id

Name

1

Blah blah

2

Blah blah

For this you can still use the collection or dictionary to store the values.  You could also use a loop function and store the variables in a build string to achieve the display you are after.
