Salesforce Relationship Filter Help

Jump to solution

In Salesforce, on a DDP, I need to create a relationship that will filter the child records down to the newest one.

To be more specific, I need to get info from the newest Quote that it attached to an Opportunity.

Any ideas on how to do this with the native filter logic (or a work around, if need be)?

Hi Roy!

To grab the newest record from a child object, you would just need to create an aliased relationship between Opportunity and Quote. You can then Order Relationship by the Created Date, click the "Descending" checkbox, and then at the bottom, limit the # of records to 1.Aliased & Ordered Relationship.png

Here is our documentation on aliased relationships:

Hello,

Where can I find the document linked in the response below? The link takes me to "Page not found".

Alternatively, links to similar docs.

Thanks.
