control background fill color red

Jump to solution

Hello I don't have experience in CSS and since out of the box there is not a pure red, could anyone tell me how to fill a control background with red color, probably with CSS? I don't think it is very complicated, but I don't know how to approach it.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah I raised a user voice for this issues, there must be different teams working on different parts of the product and all using different dev tools, as there are about 3 different color pickers.

Thank you Warwick, but is there a way to do it with CSS?

Yeah you can either edit the class that comes with the default form or add a new class and in the custom CSS add something like

.CSSClassName { background-color: red;}

Thank you Warwick I marked it as the correct answer, I have tried your solution and the only thing is that the text is aligned to the top, do you how center it in terms of height?

Thank you.

Vertical align can be tricky, I would suggest adding the same padding to each control - either in settings or using

padding-top: 10px;   or padding: 10px; for even padding on all sides
