Run workflow impersonation

When my workflows run, the SharePoint List modified by shows as "me" rather than the person who triggered the workflow or as "Nintex". I want the workflow actions in the History of the SharePoint List to show any actions, e.g. Update List, to show as Modified By "Nintex Workflow". I created a service account, logged in under that account and created a new workflow, but when I run the workflow, it is showing as my name again. How can I ensure that the Workflow Actions show as run by Nintex Workflow ?

Show image from K2 Image Attachment control on SSRS report

I've got a form that captures images and stores them in a nvarchar(max) column in SQL.  For some reason I'm spacing on how to display this image on an SSRS report.  I know I've seen this done before, but can't figure out what I'm missing. The image is being stored in SQL  in the following format - <image><name>Imagename.jpeg</name><content>imagecontentgoeshere</content></image>.  I can pull that field into SSRS, and use this field to populate the value behind an image control.  On the image control, I'm setting the source to database.  I've tried all sorts of file types/mime types, but can't seem to get anything but a red 'x' to show up. Any hints would be great.  Thanks.

How do I check the AD property 'msExchHomeServerName' on a user in a workflow?

I need to check the AD User property 'msExchHomeServerName' on a user during a workflow and return $true if the property has a value and $false if it does not. Does anyone have any idea how I can do this?

Nintex form for SharePoint online not loading in Internet explorer

Nintex form does not load in Internet explorer. Loads fine in chrome and edge. Check the console and network tabs in IE but does not seem to have any errors.

Can you populate a list view from a smartbox object and create the rows in a loop without selecting?

I am transferring data to a list view one at a time, and allowing a button to select several rows to add. When I add one at a time, when the submit button on the form is selected, this works as intended.When I add all students to a list, and then submit, it does not work.  I have a work around of highlighting 1 row within the list view and then it works. What can I add within the add all students to make this work without highlighting? I am attaching screen shots of rules.

cannot open a k2 smartform when uploading a file to sharepoint online document libraries

I am using SharePoint online and I have a K2 5 form that should open once a file has been uploaded to a sharepoint document library. I have set the setting that the K2 form should open when clicking the new button, unfortunately that is not happening at all. In SharePoint 2013 this worked great but does not seem to be working correctly in SharePoint Online. has anyone found this problem and has found a workaround for it?

Redirect multiple tasks

I have a situation where we have tasks assigned to a team of 3 people.  All 3 receive the same tasks.  How can I reassign all the tasks that are assigned to one person who leaves our organization to that person's replacement?  Right now I must perform a redirect for every task.  But, at this time, there are over 600 outstanding tasks for the person who left (and his team).  It will take forever for me to perform individual redirects.  There must be a better method, such as a mass replace feature?

Hide a List View List

Hi, See below,  I want to hide the EDITABLE List View LIST Border, any ideas how to acheive this? I have tried unticking visible for everything inside the List View, but i can still the borders etc, any ideas? The LIST itself needs to be hidden on the List view, as i have stuff above it and use the Hidden LIST to run some rules.Any way of hiding it or collapsing it? This is a Standalone LIST VIEW, it's not on a Form etc

K2 Smartforms : hiding/showing fields based on user group

Hi, We are using Smartforms for SharePoint 2013. We have a requirementt to show some specific fields only to specific user group in SharePoint. Can this be done in Smarforms? Any help would  be highly appreciated. Regards,Arun

Office 365 Create sites action but site already exists

Hi All, I'm using the Office 365 Create site action which works fine except when the site exists.The workflow will suspend itself in SharePoint with "ServiceNoResponse" with the latest output as :The Web site address "/sites/[site requested]" is already in use. I would like to add error checking either before or during this action so if the site exists not to perform that action. 1) How can I check if a site exists so this action will not be executed.I went down the path of Web API such as /_api/web/URL but wasn't very successful, and hoping to have a native action within nintex. 2) Because the workflow suspends during this action I can not terminate the workflow based on an variable output.  Thanks for any suggestion!

Display value in ListView for each row

I query K2's "Activity Instance Destination" object to get audit trail of a process. I want to make a call to AD service to get a display name for each user who has actioned the request. I am using a service that needs username without domain name so in an expression I am stripping out K2:DomainName and passing value to AD service to get username. Call to the service works OK as I can display value in a message box.  How do I get that value to display in listview ? I have tried building a separate listview with transfer data action but second view does not display any data. Is there a way to display data in either list view for approver name field.  Thank You

Activity Instance List - Finish Date 1/1/1990

We have a List view using the Method for Workflow Reporting Service (List) : List Activity Instance Destinations and the Finish Date shows 1/1/1900.  When I go into the view and attempt to create an expression to replace the 1/1/1900 to a null value the field is locked out and says I can't use it because of circular references. Is there a way to make that show as null if it hasn't been updated ?

Pick 1 item from 3-item Radio Button list, then save selected item to a SMO and also the others...??

Hi, Anyone able to help with this and how to acheive this? 1) Got a TESTSMO, has 4 fields as follows: Main Job, Job2, Job3, Job42) On my form, I have a Radio Button List which pulls Job Roles for a person from a different SMO and displays them in the View.3) The users is asked to select their main job role (radio button clicked). At this point i want to SAVE the selected item to TESTSMO field Main Job, but i also want to save the other (non-selected) roles that appear in the Radio button list to TESTSMO fields Job2, Job3, Job4. -The order they are in Job2,3,4 is not relevant, just need to have any roles saved in those fields. Everything must be saved in one record, not multiple lines Any ideas how i do this? I know how to save the selected item, but how do you save the non selected items at the same time? Is there a For all rule which can exclude the selected item? Any help appreciated

K2 Designer will not open from any machine apart from the server

Hi, ANy ideas what this could be: I can open K2 Designer from the Server itself, but when trying to open the K2 Designer URL from a Desktop anywhere else, it prompts for a Windows Security login. When you enter the login credentials it just keeps going back to the login box and won't let you in. After 3 tries i get:Not AuthorizedNot AuthorizedHTTP Error 401. The requested resource requires user authentication. I've got IIS set to Forms Authentication and Anon on the Designer site and Windows Auth only on the Runtime site.Any reason why it won't let me in? I have full permissions to the K2 Server, so that should not be an issue Thanks

Drag and Drop Control - Dotted Border in List

I am trying to use the Drag and Drop File Upload control I downloaded from the Market Place.  The control has a dotted border around it.  When I use the control in a List then the dotted border is missing the right side.  But if I use the control anywhere besides a list, then it has the right border.  A screen-shot is attached. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the right border to show up when the Drag And Drop control is used in a List View?

Workflow Deployment Error "Conflicts: System Name" on Workflow Name

Hi I already have an existing workflow running in LIVE environment. I did some amendments in the wording in the email content of email events and Task Notification emails. There was no new external token used in the workflow. Deployment of the amended workflow in  DEV environment went successful via K2 Studio. However, when I create a package and deploy in LIVE, it gives me the following Error on Process property "System Name" "Conflicts: System Name" When I selected "Use Existing Process" in Action dropdown list > OK > "Analyse". Then Status showed Green Check, but "Next" and "Finish" buttons were still disabled.Then I double clicked the workflow again and it was showing me the same error as above again How do I resolve this issue please? Regards

K2 Five Workflow Loop through Specified date

I have a requirement to Loop through Specified dates for processing leave request application. For eg. Date1: 10/4/2018 ; Date2: 10/7/2018, Totally 4 days will come inbetween two dates, I need to check each date whether it falls under a weekend or in a corporate holiday. So by looping each day we can check whether it falls on a corporate holiday or weekend.In K2 loop only list reference or semicolon separated values can be provided.Is there any way to achieve it.

Unresolved Reference Errors on Package and Deploy

I am trying to promte a solution fom a Dev to a Test envronment. In Dev, I have a workflow that has a bunch of steps but there is one smartobject action that is throwing an error. This is a SmartObject that is making a REST call based on a Swagger file I registered within my K2 instance. The red "!" mark shows up in the top right hand corner of the Smartobject action but  I can still deploy the process. When I package and deploy the solution to Test, I get a bunch of unresolved reference errors. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what was your solution. I saw this hotfix, but now sure if that is the fix: https://help.k2.com/kb002480

Register Custom Control

I am trying to register the drag-and-drop control from the K2 Martket Place.   I've copied the DragAndDropControl.dll to the Designer and Runtimes bin directory.  I'm trying to register the assembly using this command.  controlutil.exe register -assembly:“C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlK2 SmartForms DesignerBinDragAndDropControl.dll” I get an error saying "The given path's format is not supported".  at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.EmulateFileIOPermissionChecks It appears that I don't have security to do this function.  But the account I'm using is a special account created when the K2 enviornment was built.  (I didn't build the K2 environment.) Has anyone ever seen this message?  And knows what it's telling me?
