Nintex for Office 365

I am new to Nintex. I've added a Nintex workflow to a document library on Office 365. The library displays a column with the name of the workflow, but it's empty. I was under the impression that the workflow status should automatically display in this column, similar to a regula SharePoint workflow. Is there a setting I am missing?Thanks in advance! Kasia. 

Hi, I tried today to export a workflow from an O365 list with IE 11 (on Windows 10) - but without luck. Nothing happend, no download and no error message. Then I tried the same workflow with Edge - and voila! Anyone else experiencing the same behaviour?

We have some new company policies and we need each employee to accept the policy. I'm trying to determine the best path to achieve this. I didn't know if I should take the Office 365 Word Doc and copy its contents to an Nintex Form and include a button to "Accept" or maybe even use the new Adobe Sign tool. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am working in a SharePoint 2016 environment with Nintex 2016. I have credentials for an account with full control that are being used in a web service call but get 401 UNAUTHORIZED as the response. What is the minimum permission level required for the credentials to be able to run a web service call? Are there different permission levels required for different web service calls? 

Is there a way to run NWadmin functions for workflow in Office 365 or achieve the same effect?  Specifically, the NWAdmin.exe -o DelegateAllTasks ... function for blanket delegation of current tasks from one user to another.  Thanks,

Are there any negative ramifications for using tables to control text layout in a Nintex O365 form - especially when the form might utilize different layouts? I have a legacy InfoPath form that I am converting to a Nintex O365 form. The legacy form uses tables to control the text layout. For example, it has a 2 column/multi row table for product features. The first column lists the feature names and the second column lists the feature descriptions, each feature in its own row. Is it safe to re-create this in Nintex with a table, or should I use separate label objects for each and manually align them? Many thanks!Dean

I've added the nintex form in my o365, but i couldn't find any way to customize javascript. I'd like to apply some business logic in the form, just like the code behind in InfoPath. Does nintex form for o365 even support it?

I have a rather simple workflow on a document library. When a new document is created or modified in a document library the workflow initiates. In the workflow I basically have only a few workflow variables to set, and then a "Start a task process". This sends a task to each person in a list, with a task with only one outcome. With this task each user 'sign' that they have read the document. The workflow ends without waiting for tasks to complete.That all goes well.A user opens the task form, marks he has read the document, and saves. That also goes well.BUT - the document somehow gets a new version no - and that again kicks off the workflow...Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks Thomas

I have a Field on a Form (New Remaining Spend) which sometimes will become a Negative Figure i.e -1,000I have entered this into the workflow, but it does not seem to workMy workflow has a Parallel block but the workflow seems to trigger all branches in the block. Any Idea's? Kind regards Claire Allen

I'm working in a document library that uses versioning (minor and major), but does not require check-out of documents. I've created a workflow that does various things to a document in this library. The last thing that the workflow does is check the document in as a major version. However, when I go back to the library, the document has the version 1.1.  After I check the document in, I write to the workflow log and change the workflow status, but surely these actions shouldn't affect the document itself, right? What is strange is that the workflow log shows that the document was checked in as 1.0. Where does the new minor version come from? Please help! Many thanks in advance.  Kasia.

I have been slowly building and testing my new State Machine workflow when I have run into an issue using my Set Next State as Other using a Text variable.  My workflow has two states that potentially can reject my request called RA Manager Review & Country Manager Review. So I setup a Set Workflow variable at the top of these two branches and created a text variable called varLastStateTXT  and set their values to be as RA Manager Review & Country Manager Review in the appropriate place.  I next set a Task for the Initiator that allowed Resubmission or Cancellation of their request. In Cancellation we Exit the State Machine which works perfectly.  In the Resubmit Branch I have setup my Set Next State as a dynamic to send a response back to the branch that rejected the submission.  The value for the State Machine is set as Other with a value varLastStateTXT.I then set a log before the Set Next State action to find where it was going to be sent  - it retur

Hi, I've seen samples of what get removed after 60-days in a workflow history. Unfortunately none of them related to Office 365/SharePoint online. I have the following and wants to know what gets removed from the workflow after 60 days (as part of purging implemented by Microsoft)  If you have pointers on how the 'removed item' can be saved on a list. I have a two part question relating to List A & B: 1) I created a workflow that will create a new task item in List B when a new item is created in List B - mapping a description (multiple lines of text) to a name (single line of text). In the test environment, it creates the item perfectly with the description matching the name. Why would it do this here when in my sandbox SharePoint it doesn't?2) Same workflow, I want to Start a Workflow in the List B when the new item from List A is created. I put a 5 min pause after the create list item action but the Start a Workflow action comes back with this error every time 'Cannot contact sire at the specified URL https:xxxx.sharepoint.com/xx/. There is no Web named "/xx

In SharePoint Designer, you can make a workflow show up on the popup menu of a list item.  Can the same thing be done for a Nintex workflow?

I have a Workflow that is using an Approval Task. For the form, I edited using "Edit Task Form" and added some branding. The problem is, even if UNASSIGNED users try to access the form, they can respond to the Task Form. For example, the Task has been assigned to UserA, UserB can open the task and do "Approve" response. I checked permissions and they are only using "Contribute" permissions to the Workflow Tasks list. I believe the correct behavior would be that Unassigned users cannot response to the Task Form. Is this a bug? Or is there a way to fix this?

I have a Delete Item object to delete other list records, for example i want to delete the list records in the list "IMX Procurement Details" where the column "Ref Num" equal to "NTP0000257". Supposed i have 2 records which the "Ref Num" are equal to "NTP0000257". but after the workflow executed, I found that it just delete 1 record in the list. Anyone can help and explain please, thanks.  The setting is below:    My List before delete records:  My List after delete records.

I need to store a 'reason for declining' in a Customized Task form.To store the feedback I use a Workflow variable (so I can send it by email in a follow-up action). I can only find the option to show the Workflow Variable in the Task Form as a single line text.Is there a way to use a Multi Line Text input? 

Hello,I have an issue with my workflow. I created workflow on Office 365 which upload a copy of an item in a list from another list (same site).I followed this tutorial Nintex attachment workflow and it works.The problem is the file is corrupted when I try to open it. For me (I'm not 100% sure), it is because I delete the initial file at the end of my workflow. So my question is : Can I totally upload the file without make it corrupted ?

I need to be able to have a user click on a link, have a Nintex form launch, and the item that gets created be put into a particular subfolder that already exists. I dont want a workflow to do this. With sharepoint OOTB, just adding this to the URL would accomplish it    "&RootFolder=/sites/apps/volunteer/Lists/Hours/Europe" Doing the same with the Nintex form does not.  The item is ALWAYS created in the root, even if I go to the subfolder and click "New Item" while in the subfolder.  How can I auto create the item in the appropriate subfolder?

In the on-prem versions of SharePoint Nintex Workflows the column that is created when a workflow is published indicates the status of the workflow. However, in the Office 365 version of Nintex Workflow that column gets created, yet remains blank. Why is that column there? Am I missing out on something?
