What are the differences between Flexi Task and Request Review tasks.

I need to send approvals to multiple SharePoint Groups in SharePoint 2016 on premise.

What are pros and cons.

Thanks.

Regards,

Hi @guru2000,

The Request review action was used when you needed to assign a task and just needed to know when it was done. There is no approval or rejection here. The workflow stops until the task is done.

Now, I say it “was used” because this is a legacy action. When the Flexi task action was added to Nintex Workflow on-premise, it became the Swiss army knife of the task actions. It can do everything all the previous task actions can do and replaced Request review, Request data, Request approval, and Assign to-do. These old actions still exist so that the product would remain backward compatible.
