new task, condition task before is not complete

Hello there,

i want to create a task, which requests a user input, if the task before has not been completed. I thought i use the "exectue when" action before the user input, but i cant find out, how i use the status "not done" or "in work" of the task before as the condition for the next task to start.

Hope you can help me with this.

Cheers,

Mav

Re: new task, condition task before is not complete

Hi,
Reading your description of the solution you may want to think about the logic.
Most workflows run sequentially which means the previous task has to be completed before the next task is generated.
Are you running tasks parallel?

Re: new task, condition task before is not complete

Hi,

yeah i came to a similiar solution, and now use the escalation function to change the answer of the task to not finished so the task is complete for the workflow, and use this result "not finished" as a condition for the next task.

If there is a better solution im happy to hear.
