Set Item Permissions - Is this expected?

Jump to solution

Please see the screen shot below:

Run as workflow owner option is available only when this action is not part of a branch (Set a condition, Run parallel action etc.). Is this expected? Why?

I have one workflow that has multiple branches for multiple content types. I would set permissions on each content type differently so need this action to be placed in the branch. Did i miss an update that fixed this? I'm on Nintex 2010 v2.4.2.0.

Hi,

yes, if you want to run any action inside a branch with "run as workflow owner" option active, you have to set it on the "top" action, in your case the "Set a condition"
