Math operation Returning Total # of Seconds between two dates rather than Days?

Dear Dev Talk:

Any idea on how to get a math operation to return the number of days between two dates instead of the number of seconds?  Thanks!

instead of math operation, use rather set variable action and within it use fn-DateDiffDays() inline function to calculate the difference.

Hello Daniel Gonski – Assuming you've got two date fields (FirstDate and SecondDate), the following formula in a calculated field will give you the date-difference in days:

=DATEDIF([FirstDate], [SecondDate],"d")

There are 86,400 seconds in a day so you could also convert the number of seconds to day by dividing: numberOfSeconds/86,400.

However it looks like there are some cleaner options already mentioned.
