If else condition in 365

Jump to solution

Hey community,

I am sure I am just a bit lost, however I cannot seem to work out how to do a condition with 3 options, eg if( ) { } elseif( ) { } else { } using nintex workflow for office365.

With SharePoint designer I can do this out of the box, so I am hoping I don't have to fall back on that?

You could use the Conditional Branch action.

This workflow action processes logic within the workflow that will run when a certain condition evaluates to true or false.

When the action is added to the design canvas there are 2 branches. When a condition evaluates to true, the workflow will follow the Right branch. When a condition evaluates to false, the workflow will follow the Left branch.

Have your initial condition (the first IF condition), in the Left branch (where the first condition returns FALSE) add another Conditional Branch. In the Left branch of this conditional action would be the last ELSE branch.

The right side of the branches would be when the conditions would return true.
