How to filter on workflow status

Jump to solution

I am trying to create views based on Workflow status in my list. I tried to lookup using Datasheet it doesn't show the numeric value of the status.

I tried to use it has a string like "Rejected" , "Closed"... it would give be Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131904 Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131904

FYI, I setting own custom status.

When you say that you've set your own status, have you created your own column in the list where you set a string as the status ?

Open the list, filter on one of the workflow statuses.  Then click SAVE THIS VIEW.  After saving it, modify the view and get the numerical code associated with that custom status.  Repeat for your other statuses.  Then you can use those numerical statuses to create the real view you want.
