literal double quote in function

Jump to solution

Hello,
I am using an inline function in a build string:

fn-Replace({WorkflowVariable:txt_Emails},{TextStart}; {TextEnd},{TextStart}", "{TextEnd})

I am attempting to replace the '; ' (Semi-Colon Space) with '", "' (Double Quote Comma Space Double Quote)
In C# the escape character for a literal " (double quote) is \"

What is the escape character or syntax for using a " (double quote) in an inline function?

Thank you kindly

From what I understood is that you are building a string and then replacing the semicolon in that string with comma.

The approach I would suggest is first, build your string with semicolons. Then in the end when the string is complete simply use regular expression action to replace the semicolon with comma.

Keep us posted. All the best.

What I did in a similar case was using a string variable.

Please, define a new variable to set a default value with your full string (including all quotations).

Then use this variable in your formula instead the direct value.

It Works like a charm.

Best regards.
