in Nintex Forms You have to use a formatting string for numbers:
It's descibed in Nintex Help. For more information about string format see Custom Numeric Format Strings
I solved my problem with your suggest!
P/s: I found in the Nintex Forms Help document about String Format of Single Line Of Text field:
String Format: The string format to apply to the value. The string format will be determined by the type of data
specified by the control. When it is a number the following can be used http://msdn.microsoft.com/enus/library/0c899ak8.aspx, and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dwhawy9k.aspx. For other types see
Hi Manfred and Bill
I have a same situation with a field that is a number format and in SharePoint I have configured it to have 2 decimals. While the user types the value in the field I want to format so that the user be sure that they have entered the correct value.
I have tried the ideas above applying to my field but it doesn't happen in the client, is there something I am doing wrong?
Can you do something similar in Nintex 2013? I don't see the "String Format" under Advanced for the single line textbox I am working with. That must have been something they added to O365 Nintex.
I've been trying this solution and this Forms - Display numeric fields with thousands separators an no matter the type, currency, number, single line of text.. it doesn't show the correct thousand separator while the user is inserting the data..
what am I doing wrong?
