Is there a need to add reference numbers for our documents in Promapp? Or should we use a standardised approach in document titles?
We recommend using a nomenclature system. It makes it easy to keep associated processes and documents together, and easy to find in the search function without having to think of what someone else may have named a document or process. We run an Excel spreadsheet to maintain a master nomenclature list.
If you link from a DMS, though, you can simply keep your reference numbers in there.
