Picklists not displaying in Lightning App

We have a Skuid page in a Lighting App and for some reason some of our picklists are not displaying values when they are clicked on. We’ve verified that users have permissions to the fields, field level security is good, and have upgraded to the latest release. It’s happening when we go to create a new record in a table (but only on some tables) and in a sidebar component we’re using for the log a call functionality. If we override the field metadata, we can get the values to appear but the field renders tied to those values aren’t being respected…Anyone have any idea as to what’s happening?

Upload and Image Component with Google Drive

I currently save images in a field defined as a Skuid_image and then use the image component to show image (portrait) on a page.  Can I use the upload component to store an image on a google drive in a specific folder on the google drive?Can I then use the image component to retrieve the image from the google drive?I believe the answer is yes.If so, are there screen shots on how the google drive should be defined in the data source?  How are the image properties defined in Image Properties?How are the file properties defined in the File Properties?

New Nintex Apps for Salesforce: Latest release: 17.8.2

I have updated our sandbox to the latest release, but I am not seeing the new Page Designer as listed in the release notes, nor the migration instructions from the linked Page Designer on moving the composer pages out.  Just wondering if I am missing a step in the upgrade. Thanks!

Links for upgrading to the latest Skuid package

One of my orgs has an outdated version of the Skuid managed package. I found Skuid on the appexchange, and it took me through (way too many) pages asking for names and logins, After finally choosing to install in a production system, I was redirected to this page: https://sites.secure.force.com/partners/PP2PartnerLoginPage?startURL=%2Fpackaging%2FinstallPackage.apexp%3Fp0%3D04tG00000007JdhIAE . I’m not sure what to do here, though. Why am I on a partnerforce page? This won’t install Skuid in my client’s production org, will it? In any case, I do happen to have a partnerforce login, but when I used it the next page simply said I don’t have the correct permissions to get to the next step. I suspect something is wrong here? So, to get around this, I had to do some serious hunting around to find your page with the latest package install links. How can I sort a table using UI only field (Salesforce Basic Model with UI only field "Formula")

I have a model in which I created a UI only field (Display type = Formula / Formula Return Type = Number)The field is working as intended and returning a numerical value in my TableNow I would like the table to be automatically sorted with this UI only field → use the UI only field in the model’s “Fields to order records by” is this possible?My Field Id is SortValue(UI) / Unique ID SortValuewhen I try I keep on getting “Error:No such column 'SortValue' on entity 'OrderItem'. If you are attempting to use a custom field, be sure to append the '__c' after the custom field name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names.” making me think that UI only fields can’t be used, but is there a way Thank you

Skuid not saving Time field

I am using an object having Time field and when i use that time field in Skuid it’s coming with UI. After that i am trying to save the time field using javascript Code: var params = arguments[0], $ = skuid.$; var setupModel = skuid.model.getModel(‘SetupModel’); setupModel .save({callback: function(result) { setupModel .updateData(); }}) Any idea what is wrong how to save it.

Generating multiple Conga documents at one go from Skuid button action (Global / Mass actions)

Hello,Is it possible to generate multiple Conga documents at one go by using a Global or Mass action from a Table component?Lets assume there are 5 rows in the Table retruned from the Model pointed to the Table. User will select 3 rows and click on the Global / Mass action button. Assuming, i am using a Template component where the Conga Doc generation URL’s for each of the rows are defined, is it possible to generate all the selected rows’ documents by a single button click?Thank you.Regards.

Will International Components for Unicode (ICU) locale formats affect Skuid?

Starting with the Spring ’22 release, the International Components for Unicode (ICU) locale formats will be required in Salesforce. We noticed you haven’t adopted the new ICU formats yet. Adopting ICU ensures consistent patterns and formats for all locale data, for example, date-time and currency formats. You’re currently using Oracle’s Java Development Kit (JDK) locale formats. In the Spring ’22 release, International Components for Unicode (ICU) locale formats replace the JDK locale formats in Salesforce. ICU is the international standard format for dates and times. Record Type Label disappears after selecting in lookup field

When selecting a record type value, the user is able to select the value but it immediately disappears.In the attached example, the value marked with the red arrow was selected. Then, the record type id field immediately shows a blank value until the record is saved. After the record is save, the value is visible.The desired result is for the new record type value to remain visible after being selected.Any idea what is causing this behavior and how I can fix it?

How to pass multiple rows' data through Skuid- URL

Hi,I want to define a Skuid button action>>”Go to URL” where i would like to pass multiple rows from the Model.Can you please advise me on the syntax to be used?Example- https://clientdevorg--newdev--apxt-congasign.sandbox.vf.force.com/apex/apxt_sendForSignature?id={{{$Model.Borrower.data.0.Id}}} When i pass this paramater, it only queries the first rows data. Custom Aggregation Formulas

Did you know that you can use Javascript to create your own custom formula fields in Skuid? My favorite are the custom aggregation formulas originally submitted by @matt.davis. You can use them to aggregate data from any model and do calculation like SUMIF or COUNTIF. How to test if some entered text into search box to initiate a search in a filter set

Question for you advanced Skuid builders out there.  When using search in a filter set I want to be able to show a message when search starts, and change the message if no results have been found.  The problem is that I’m not sure how to tell if the search has started to be executed/ been executed.  I know I can do this with a form and a button set, but I want to take advantage of “Apply search as you type” feature in filter sets.Is there a way, assuming via Javascript, to test if someone has entered something into search and if so,  results have been returned?  There are 2 tests in particular that I want to performSomeone has typed something into the search box (I need the same trigger that enables the Reset button, but cannot figure out what it is).  My attempt at a simple event listener isn’t working, but that may be my error. Search can take a large time to execute, especially the first time the user searches, and I want to be able to show a message only if the search has finished

Read Only mode on Form not working before model is saved

Using Skuid NLX (17.5.0.0) I have a wizard that create a new row on a model and then guides a user through filling out a form. On the final page of the wizard is a review of what they have entered and I have the form set to Read Only, however it displays in edit mode when it navigates to that step. To troubleshoot I had the record save before it got to that step and it displayed correctly Read Only mode. Is it possible to have a form of an unsaved new record display in read only mode?

How to add a skuid page to a Salesforce Lightning Dashboard? 

How can I add a skuid page to a Salesforce Lightning Dashboard? I am able to add a skuid page to a Salesforce Classic Dashboard by following the instructions in https://docs.skuid.com/v15.3.25/v2/en/skuid/deploy/salesforce/visualforce/dashboard.html. However want to be able to add the Skuid page to the customer’s existing Lightning Dashboard.

Dynamic HTTP Header / Merge Fields

Hi, I have a REST model that is integrating with a 3rd party system (Snowflake) that requires I generate a JWT token and include it in the HTTP headers. I have an Apex class in Salesforce that is correctly generating this token (I can confirm this using Postman), but I can’t seem to get it added into the Common HTTP Request data section. I’ve tried using the {{$Apex.ClassName}} merge variable and having the class implement the skuid.Utils.MergeValueProvider interface but that doesn’t seem to work? I also see there is a Custom Apex Authentication option in the Auth providers, but I don’t see any documentation anywhere on how I can leverage that and I’m getting Apex errors when trying to implement the recommended ModelDataSourceAuthProvider interface. Is there a better way I should be dynamically inserting this header value from Apex?

Skuid REST API Pagination

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to configure pagination when connecting to external data source. I’m working with Prey API and need to pull in all records or iterate through the pages to get all record to show up on one table. Prey max limit is 100 record per page. Queue component- Default display of 1 st Queue value

Multiline addresses in v2 form fields

How do I show a multiple line Salesforce addresses in a single form field using v2 components? I am converting a v1 page to v2.  With v1, the consultant successfully used a template field to display the billing address of an account.  An example of the template text is “{{BillingStreet}}<br/>{{BillingCity}}, {{{BillingStateCode}}} {{BillingPostalCode}}”.  The same template field in V2, does not allow me to select the AllowHTML check box causing Skuid to print the HTML breaks as normal text.  Even if I set allowhtml to true manually in the XML editor, Skuid still ignores does not render the breaks.  Using the BillingAddress as a single field in the form doesn’t help at all.  It shows on the screen with the text “[object Object]”Any suggestions on how to do this in v2 without having to create multiple fields?I have attached a Skuid Page that has a form with the example template and Billing Address field.

Action Sequence > Creates a New Row > Add Default Value in a Salesforce Lookup Filed

I am trying to get my Action Sequence to Creates a New Row and Add Default Value in a Salesforce User Lookup Filed.  The Value that I am trying to add is the “running user” User ID. Tried using Add Default Value > Salesforce user attribute “User ID” but it’s not populating the model.  Thx in advance

Troubleshooting - Filter options not rendering for one Salesforce user

A user has reported that they are unable to see more than one filter option on a specific for all filters on the skuid page. I have been able to replicate this issue and also verified this is working for other users with the same access. I also verified the data is correct and not limiting to cause these issues.

Page Include within a Page Include

To avoid having to find all the places where a pricing calculator might be used, I had the idea to create a “container” page that I use as a page include wherever I need to display the calculator. Within that container page I would use a page include and link to the specific page for the pricing calculator. Whenever the pricing calculator necessitates the creation of a new page for a new version, I would just update the page include on the container page. The thought being that this would effectively update the calculator everywhere that it is displayed. Are there any reasons not to do this? The pricing calculator is mostly standalone and does not have any parameters passed to it.

Issues displaying image received from API

I've got a use case for a project where we are receiving image binary from an API and trying to display it in Skuid.   When we run everything though Salesforce Apex code it works well.... we are proving the concept by converting the response blob to a base64 string which we save to a rich text field.... and we see the expected image on the record page. I'm having issues getting a snippet in Skuid to do similar functionality... whether just saving to a rich text field or trying to display the image using javascript + skuid without saving to the record.Any assistance here would be appreciated…. have worked on this for several hours.Thank you!
