I am setting a control con a form to use "Client ID JavaScript variable name" but I cannot.

I receive this message

  • The client id javascript variable name "<span style="font-size: 12px;">controlInvestigacionFactores</span>" is an invalid javascript variable name.

Any clue?

I think you copy/paste the name from a HTML source.

What happens when you type 'controlInvestigacionFactores' in Notepad and copy/paste that in the field 'Client ID Javascript variable name' (after clearing it first)?

Could you expand the advanced-section to show the client ID name of the control?

The error message speaks of the client ID name, not the control's name so it might hold an invalid value.

Yes I know that and I used the same for control name and variable name, but it is not a problem.

I actually didn't know what it happened, perhaps ‌ 's clue is right.

I closed the form, opened it again and the problem disappeared.
