Scenario

This How To article describes the steps needed to upgrade a Nintex for Office 365 Run if action to a Run if True action in Nintex Workflow Cloud.

After Upgrade

The Run if True action must be configured.

Differences

In Nintex for Office 365, the Run If action has four ways to specify a value:

  • Hard-coded value

  • Workflow context

  • List lookup

  • Workflow variable

In Nintex Workflow Cloud, a variable must be specified from:

  • Workflow variable

  • Start event

  • Context

In Nintex for Office 365, a Run If action has two ways to set multiple conditions within the expression.

  • AND – both conditions need to be met in order to run

  • OR – either condition needs to be met in order to run

After the upgrade to Nintex Workflow Cloud, these condition options have been replaced with the following:

  • ALL – both conditions need to be met in order to run

  • ANY – either condition needs to be met in order to run

Adjustments

Click the Run if True action and enter information for the When, Operator, and Value fields. If multiple items need to be compared, make sure to set If True statement to all or any.  Depending upon how your Nintex for Office 365 workflow was built, you may need to create a new variable to complete the configuration. It is also important to make sure to that the child action contained within the Run if True action is fully configured.
