Code Fix: An error occurs when you deploy a form that contains a Custom control
Issue Description
When you deploy a package using K2 Package and Deployment, and the package includes a form with a Custom control, an error occurs during the deployment step.
Error Message
The following error occurs: “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”.
Resolution
The fix is available in the following K2 versions:

- Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative Update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
- Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
- Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
- Re-deploy the package.
