Summary
When you create a K2 package using the SharePoint Online Page Layout view, you cannot then deploy the package.
Cause
Microsoft made a change in how SharePoint Online returns site URLs, causing the K2 server to remain in a waiting state. This causes the deployment to time out.
Workaround
Revert to Classic page layout view as described in SharePoint Online User Interface changes to create and deploy packages.
