Good Day

I am facing an issue when i submit my workflow.

Immediatly after pressing the button to submit i am greeted with an Invalid serial number error message.

I have no idea whats the cause because to my knowledge i have not passed any serial number.

Even though i still get this message , the workflow still runs fine.

Check your submit rules to make sure you haven't got an "Action a worklist item" rule or even an "Open a worklist item" rule included.

If we could see the submit button clicked rule, we may be able to assist. I assume the Submit button is trying to action a worklist item when it shouldn't in this scenario, since the workflow hasn't started yet and there isn't a serial number. If this turns out to be the case, you can check if there is a serial number parameter before trying to act on the worklist item

That error message doesn't look like a standard K2 error message.  It looks like it might be from a 'Show a message' action.  Is it possible, after submitting you are navigating to a different SmartForm that is expecting a serial number?

The rule for the submit button will be the place to start looking.
