This article will explain how and when to use SQL predefined and SQL custom queries

Steps:

Adding a predefined query

Use predefined queries to define reusable SQL queries that can be used across different wizards.
  • Open Kryon Admin and log in.
  • Select your company followed by the SQL Commands tab.

  • Click Add underneath the External Data Sources section.
  • Under the Provider tab, select the required provider based on your data source.

  • Under the Connection tab, complete the required fields (server name, credentials and database) then test your connection via the Test Connection button at the bottom.

  • If the test was successful, click OK.
  • Under SQL Queries click add and proceed to enter your predefined SQL query.
  • Once done, click Save.

  • When using the Execute SQL Query advanced command, select Predefined Query then select the query that you defined in Kryon Admin. Proceed to configure advanced command options as normal such as parameters, return variables, etc.
