A couple folks who were previously able to edit Skuid pages were unable to do so this morning. They got an error message saying, “You do not have permission to create or modify Pages that contain JavaScipt Resources. This capability requires the ‘Author Apex’ permission on your user Profile.”

Is that a new requirement? Or has that always been required and maybe someone altered the profiles on our end.

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

It’s always been a requirement. Someone must have modified your Profiles / Permission Sets.

Historical trivia: Salesforce’s Security Review team required us to implement this restriction when we first released Skuid. So it’s been there from the beginning 🙂
