Use external email for task (without Lazy Approval)?

Currently for the Assign a Task action, if you use do not use LazyApproval option, the email comes from the name of the site.  If you use Lazy Approval, it comes from Nintex email (reply@workflownotification.com). Is it possible to use the Nintex external email as the sender for a Task **NOT** using LazyApproval?

Workflow incorrectly assumes dates in repeating section xml are UTC

What we think is happening: When extracting the date from the repeating section xml in the workflow, The workflow assumes the date is in UTC  The workflow adds 10hrs to the date (which matches our region if it was a UTC date)  We then have to subtract the 10hrs back off to get back to the correct date

Failed to publish workflow: Error in the application

I have edited my workflow, I was able to save and publish the workflow fine yesterday, but after making some additions to the workflow today I am able to save the workflow but not publish it. The error message I'm getting is: "nintex failed to publish workflow error in the application" ...or something along those lines. I have read about breaking the workflow down and i have removed steps. I have also disabled action steps and the same message appears.  Any help would be great, I'm on a deadline!

Actionable Message Outcome Requires user Input

My Flexy Task has 3 outcomes: Approve, Reject, Request Clearance. This last one(request clearance) requires that user enter name of person who is requesting the clearance. This can be done on the task form itself. I have a validation rule when this outcome is selected, display name field for the user to enter the name. However, when Actionable message is enable, I can still Request clearance from outlook email but I cannot add the person that this clearance task should go to, therefore my workflow goes suspended because doesn;t know who to assign the clearance task. Is there away to allow the approver user to enter name when requesting clearance by using the Actionable Messages in Outlook 2016 and OWA???

Hiding/Showing a panel based on multiple possible drop down answers?

I currently have a list of 3 questions with drop downs. Each question has 3 possible options for answers. I've used the following formula to hide the panels based on 3 of the outcomes:Whatkindoftimeframewouldyoulikeforimplementationoftheimprovement!="Longer term timeline (>4 months)"||HowmanyBusinessUnitswouldthisimprovementspan!="1-3 different Business Units"||Howcanwehelp!="I'd like to be coached through the process"This is successful when those answers are selected, however, there are 27 possible outcomes. Disabling check box based on counted values in rows

Hey guys, I am struggling with a problem. I am trying to create sort of registration form where people can check the button at the training, if they want to attend next months. The button should get disabled as soon as in that very column the number of attendees reaches 10. as shown on the picture, there is 12 times yes and 2 times no, so the count function of the sharepoint list works great. As soon as I try to put this in the rule in the nintex form for sharepoint, it gets tricky. The check box does not get disabled if I use count(PMOoverview)>=10. If I do it the other way around count(PMOoverview)<=10, it works well. Obviously its not counting the boolean "yes" as the sharepoint list does.  Could you please help me solve the problem. Even suggestions to go around it somehow are welcomed. I am no developer and I am new with Nintex, so I will welcome any suggestion  Thanks, Milan

How to build a formula using variables in Set Workflow Variable?

I have a travel request workflow that was built in such a way that when I need to change the list it stores values in (because the workflow errors after 5000 records are stored) then I have to go into A LOT of activities to change them all to the SAME variable that uses the SAME formula to set the list.  The activity is Set Workflow Variable, they had it set up the variable "strAssignedTo" to these values:     - Equals: List Lookup     - Source: The new Workflow Tasks list you just created     - Field: Assigned To (click on the X to change it to Login Name)     - When: GUID     - Equals: Workflow Variables : strTaskItemID Can I set the "Source" on this formula to a variable that I can change just once at the top of the branch and not have to do this 50 times every time? I am unable to choose any variables in the drop down.. Is there a way to build this even if it's complicated so that I still only have one thing to change?

Sending email if a created item in first list doesn't exists in lookup field of second list

Hi Everyone, This is my first time using Nintex. Please help me here as i dont know where to begin and how to start. I have to make a workflow. I have two lists(list A and list B) in SharePoint online. In list A, i will add items. For example i have added an item and CT0001 is the title of that item in list A. In list B, the title of my list A is the lookup column. So i want to check and send email notification for condition ---After creating a item in the list A(tile is CT0001), if there are no items corresponding to that in the list B after 14 days of the creation of that item then it should send an email notification. Please guide me here everyone.

Tab in an editable list does not select the input of the next control

Hello, when editing or adding a row in an editable list my common "workflow" is to start in the first column, enter some information, press tab to go to the next column, enter again some information and so on.But when some columns are already filled, K2 does not select the content so that I can overwrite it easily. I have to select it either with my keyoard or with my mouse and then overwrite it... Is there a possibility to let it be selected as soon it gets focused? regars,Johann

Edit Toolbar Button not working in Editable List View

I have an Editable List View that I have the Add, Edit and Delete buttons availalable on the toolbar. I also have rules setup for if a row is clicked or double clicked to then open as Edit. I am almost using a Sum aggregate to total one column. I have this setup as outlined in the Expense Claim Tutorial (without having to use currency codes).  My issue is that if I have entered an amount in the row, I am not able to then use the edit button when that row is selected and the click/double click rule won't open that row to become editable. If the amount column is empty, all three edit options work perfectly fine.  Included is a screen shot of the view I have. The rows that have Sue Marie and Ellen I cannot go back and edit.  The reality is that someone can easily make a mistake in the amount and I need to be able to have them edit that row.

How to SFTP a file from company server to a K2 Cloud instance

Hi All, We have a file we need to automatically send daily from our on-premises server to our K2 instance. We'd like to use SFTP from our system in batch (for example using AutoSys). This is not a manual upload. It is a batch upload happening in the early hours. I've scanned the help system here and have found nothing. We're looking for particulars please (not a generic help system link). Thanks in advance. :)

How do I make a list workflow that runs when a list is updated

I have never worked with workflows or Sharepoint before, so there are many things I do not know. I have an assignment in Sharepoint Online in which I created a repository using a list. In this repository, people manually enter certain instructions as well as their current status: "Incomplete" or "Complete"I now want to create a second list that shows all the instructions whose status value is "Incomplete". I believe creating a workflow is the correct solution, but I have no idea how to make the workflow run every single time the repository is updated. (It's probably something small that I am missing).Any leads, ideas, or general helpful information/links are greatly appreciated.

How can i update a document with a rich text field data which contains text and images?

I have been using Nintex Document generation and it has been working successfully. The only issue I have is when trying to update a document with rich text field data which contains text and images, I have been unsuccessful in doing so. It does not seem possible for some reason, not sure if anyone else has experienced this. Please can the community assist me with a solution for this issue or a possible workaround.

Update Process Data fields (K2 Cloud)

Hi All I have lots of running processes in K2 Cloud where a certain data field contains invalid value.  There is no way through the workflow to update this information and they are going into error.I need some way to manually update a data field in these instances - how can this be done?Because we are using K2 Cloud there is no option to use 3rd party tools.Is there a way to do it through a smartObject or through K2 Management? thanksPaul

Send workflow task to multiple users entered in picker control

Hello, I am having some trouble assigning workflow tasks to multiple users entered into a picker control.I am wondering how I should parse the data that is saved when approvers are selected so I can send a task to each user selected.I need to send these tasks to AAD users so AAD security label is needed.I have no issues if one user is selected but if 2 or more users are selected I am running into an issue sending a task to those users. Thank you,Nick Shouse

Whether Nintex Auto Clean up of workflow tasks will delete when workflow is in progress

Hi Team,I need a clarification in Nintex workflow O365 Reminder part, If the workflow is in running state for around 9 months, will the workflow task related to the item gets deleted? I have a workflow with reminder in my Nintex Wokflow.For, every 30, 60, 90 days , i need to send a reminder email.So i have configured reminder in "Start a task process" action.Will that workflow task gets deleted after 90 days? because it is deleted after 60 days when the workflow is cancelled/completed. so when the workflow is in progress, after 60 days, will that task get deleted? please reply. And one more thing, i din't find separate reminder action in Nintex O365. please assist.Thanks in advance.Deepika

Understanding and troubleshooting high API usage

I have a DocGen package for a monthly business process -- creating membership renewal letters -- that we run from a report and output to DocGen Queue. Our volume is about 2,000-3,000 records each month. When we first ran this package and process in production, we quickly and unexpectedly hit our limit of 25,000 API calls within 24 hours. It turns out that running the package used roughly 12 API calls per record, and then another 3 per record when we went to merge the resulting PDFs into batched files for printing. We got Salesforce to temporarily lift our limit, but I'd like to see if there is a way to understand and potentially reduce the number of API calls in my package so that we don't end up having to a) split up our process in order to stay under the limit, or b) pay Salesforce for a higher API call limit. Any ideas?

Set default date-format for datetime-fields

Dear all If I'm using a field of data type "datefield" I can ajust the layout of the representation of the date. The default representation is the english format "m/d/yyyy". But I want to use the german format "d.m.yyyy". I can change this setting for every single field which is a bit anoying! So here are the questions:- In the "style builder" dialog there is the option to switch to "user settings". Where can I configure these user-settings?- Is there a possibility to configure this for all users in advance?- Is there a possibility to change the default setting for the date format?  P.S.: I allready found tipps regarding the web.config file. But the "executionCulture" is allready set to "de-DE" and the change of the "globalization culture" did not solve this "problem" RegardsViktor

Hi All, I'm on trial account accessing using this address https://trial.onk2.com.I've created a 2 level approval workflow, one of the form i've setup to use custom form (smartform).When i test run this workflow and going into the form (clicking on the link to the worklist item from email), it's showed that error.This is the link Click to open worklist item.Checking on other similar post, they all suggested to patch the server or modify register entry. Thanks.Best Regards,Ariwibawa
