How to validate duplicate rows in list view

Hi Everyone, When adding a row to list view or on the event list row added, no duplicate values should be entered. It should be validated in the "Add new row" button click. via database it is validated, without saving to database we have to validate with in the view itself. Please suggest me any solution ASAP. ThanksSurya

Nintex Tasks

We are using Nintex Online for Office 365.  I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction on the best way to restrict access to the items in the task list. There will be sensitive data in some of the tasks so I would like only a subset of users to be able to see some of these tasks. I am aware of the limitations, but I was hoping that someone would have a workaround to apply item level permissions on tasks.

Replicate Title Form theme on View

Hello, I would like to have text on a view 'BUSINESS CASE' be the same font/size/style as the title of the header that the form creates (Blue Void Theme - 'PROMOTION DETAILS').  Is this possible?  Thanks.

JQuery place view above Workflow Task Approval view?

Good day all,I have been trying to figure out how to place a view above the Workflow View in a form (The one that lets you approve or reject or whatever steps have been configured in a workflow task).There was another post relating to placing views above tabs, which referred to this site: https://k2recipes.wordpress.com/2017/08/29/show-multiple-views-above-tabs-using-script/utilizing this code $($(“.view”)[viewIndex]).insertBefore(“.tabs-top”);However I have tried different variations of it to apply to the Workflow Task actions. The element has an ID of "WorkflowStrip" so I tried: $($(“.view”)[viewIndex]).insertBefore(“#WorkflowStrip”);But it does not work. Has anyone tried to do this before with any luck? Thank you in advance

LDAP User cannot access k2 workflow REST api

Hello, i'm currently having problem to access k2 workflow rest api using an LDAP user account each time i tried to access it, it always ask for login information even after inputted the user account correctly.i've also check claims and server rights using management site, but there's nothing that indicate something is wrong.the only assumption i have is that the displayed username displays the email of the LDAP user in Workflow Server Rights causes user unable to login, but i can still access designer/workspace/management with LDAP. is there any solution for this?

Salesforce form data outputs as columns in Excel - can Nintex output as rows?

Currently, data from a Salesforce form is exported into Excel, but each attribute is a column. So with many data attributes, it's difficult to read and print. How can I get Nintex to output as rows in Excel (SFDC Lightning)? For example; all the product attributes on the vertical and the product types on the horizontal - makes for a quick and easy comparison.

How to restart K2 services.

Hi I have done some changes in workspace -> managment console->usermanager->k2-> setting.But it is not reflecting as I am still getting the same  error in K2 error log. Thanks

Workspace not found error

Hello, I've encountered a problem, when opening K2 Workspace on testing enviornment. I have been changing some elements on it and copying one custom workspace. But after that, everytime i go to https://....../Workspace, I get the following error (see attachment workspace_error). Even, if I change default workspace to other cutom or original workspaces, the error stays the same. I also tried to creating new workspace, but nothing helps.  If I refresh the page, when I get this error, everyting works okay - the issue is also solved when I switch from default workspace to another workspace, by clicking K2 logo on top of the page (see attachment changeWorkspace) . Anyone knows what could be the issue?

Is this a way to convert the amount digits into words

I have final payment approval form for finance and the templet should print with both the  amount in digits and letters word  for example  the total amount is 200$ should be writen two hundred instead of manually writing we need to make it automatic whether using JS or the out of the box.

Using Line breaks in transfer rule

Trying to get text to format like below when pushing data to a Text Area in K2 Cloud The text should read likea. Easy to format b. Line breaks between the letters What i have found so far is a single line with no ability to add line breaks which is causing a considerable headache on my end.

PDF Converter in Workflow

Hello, I'm struggling with the PDF Converter while using inside a workflow. I had problems with some elements on my forms, that were heavily edited by CSS and JS. According to https://help.k2.com/kb001626 i changed the values of useWebkit and serializeResources to true. After this my PDFs are rendered perfectly.Is there a way to set these values while using the SmartObject inside a workflow?The reason for this is, that the user is supposed to select some values and starts the PDF generation process after that. The content of the selection form will be saved into one pdf and in addition to that other data items should also be saved into several pdfs which will be uploaded into a SharePoint library after this. The first PDF is generated with the Save As PDF control, but all additional PDFs are created in the background by a workflow and the useWebkit/serializeResources values are ignored. Thanks,Adrian

Filling Lookup Column via Nintex Workflow in the cloud

I am using Nintex in the cloud for SharePoint O365 in the cloud.My problem is that I have a lookup field in a list linked on another list and I want to fill it using the workflow. OnPrem and in Designer this was done by entry [ID;#Text]. The ID was the found ID of the element in the source. I've now tried all possible combinations, searched half of the Internet and also looked up the field directly in the source, but I can't find a way to update this field in the element.I very much hope that someone here can give me the decisive tip on what to do.

Document Generation and rich text formatting

Hi, I'm using the Document Generation action to create a Word document and that's all working fine, but I'm wondering if it is possible to pass in a rich text field and retain it's formatting? The column I'm using is multi-line text set as enhanced rich text. Thanks Jan

Can you put data from another smart object into a list view that is based on a reporting smo

I have a list view based on the Activity Instance Destination reporting object. I want to conditionaly place activity name or text in the coulumn based on the Activity name. Can this be done if the field the coulumn is based on is Activity Name? If I select field = none then the field is always blank at initialization.

Help: Workflow decision following wrong paths

I have a descision step in my workflow. The paths are "Change" and "Continue" (screenshot wf1). The path is determined by the task result. But this is not behaving as expected. If I action "Change" both paths are followed (screenshot wf3) - I don't want that, I only want it to follow the "Change" path... If I choose "Continue" it follows the "Continue" path but then also has a fragment of the "Change" path taken (screenshot wf2). Any ideas what I'm doign wrong here?

Workflow Settings

Hi, So my set up is as follows:- Dev Environment- QA Environment- Both has Development Licence- Each has respective Admin User Accounts- Each SEEMS to be in the same respective roles- The same workflow that comes from the same source is deployed on each workflow server- The workflows are schedules and for extra testing ; triggered manually in Management rather than a Smart Form The problem:- The problem is that on Dev this process encounters an Error that states that my workflow step threshold is reached. i find this problematic since it is reached very early within the execution. But i carried on to change the threshold settings from 1000 steps in 60 seconds to 1000 steps in 1 minute and it worked . THIS SEEMS TO BE A QUICK AND DIRTY FIX to me and i dont trust it Because:On QA, when this workflow is executed, it does not receive an error. Both these workflows read their data from the same service instance being a Production database; synching the production data to the Dev and QA resp

Issue in hyperlink inside iphone gmail client

Hi All, I have a requirement where user want to approve a task through email in a single click. After some struggle, we implement a hyperlink inside the task email which will open a new email in browser as well as email client. The href sytax was given like below <ahref="mailto: <Address>?subject=<subbject>&body=Approve <SerialNo>">Approve</a> where <SerialNo> will be coming as SN=<number>. Link is working in Desktop browsr but it is not working in gmail client in iphone.  When we click on Approve hyperlink in iphone gmail client then it will open a new email and body will have content only till SN. I believe email client is not able to recognize the "=" symbol after SN as part of the body, instead it is looking for an attribute.  Due to this I am not able to approve the task from iphone. Any idea how to solve this

Creating K2 4.7 Package in K2 Five environment

Hi, A dedicated server has been installed for K2 Five development (since the current 4.7 server does not comply with the hardware requirements for 5.3). This is to prepare us from migrating 4.7 to 5.3.  Since you cannot deploy packages in 4.7 to 5.3, how can I create a new package using the 5.3 version? I am trying to add the server in the K2 Package and Deployment but it comes up with an error (please see attached screenshot). Thanks and Kind Regards,Joan

Is User in any group SO - Issue with sub groups

Hi, We use the the SharePoint "Site - Management - Group" Smartobject to verify if users are in this group when a form loads and it works fine if I have added myself to the SharePoint group as a direct entry against my AD account "Julie Bird". However, in our organisation we permission all of our sharepoint groups with a cooresponding AD group that has been created for each role (makes permissining maintanence free when people move between roles a lot). Therefore I would add the AD Role User ... ie "SP Coordintaor" to the Sharepoint group instead of myself directlty (of  which julie bird is a member of). However, I can't find a smart object method that will recognise me when I use the AD Role User, it will only recognise me if I add my 'Julie bird' AD role. Any help or suggestions? We really don't want to have to go back to adding individuals into all processes across SharePoint, Thanks, Julie :-)

How to upload multiple attachements in forms for a SharePoint list

I would like to upload multiple attachments for a sharepoint list, when the form is customized in K2. Please provide me the suggestions for ex: We have repeater control in infopath to attach/add multiple items/documents to upload/insert in the form, in the same way do we have a provision to upload multiple attachements.

Hi All, I have a One Workflow (ABC) that uses Start Workflow Action (Start another workflow (XYZ) that create Item in List).   I have Configure the workflow ABC by User1. When Workflow ABC Start by the another User i.e. User2, then workflow XYZ also start and create the item in List, But Create By and Modified By are coming as User1. Please Help me on this.   Thanks

Hi,I am trying to set Date Time Field by using the Set field in Current Item Action, 1. First i have Create one variable (DateTime) and Use Add Time to Date Action to Add 7 Days in Created Date2. And Then setting the DateTime Variable in DateTime List Field. Issue : Value are not setting in Field. Need help on this issue. Configuration Screenshot:
