Document list report not showing all documents

Hello,

I have just noticed that the ‘document list report is not showing all documents’ currently sitting in our Process Manager.

I have run the report INCLUDING ‘...associated Process Groups, Search Tags, and System Tags’ and ‘...links in unpublished changes. I have also run the report NOT including those parameters and the result is the same. A few documents are missing in the report.

I’m wondering whether you have experienced a similar issue?

I think I know what it is; my ‘Document List’ is 2000 lines long AND all documents missing are those starting from the letter “V” onwards. I believe there is a limitation configured by Nintex in terms of the length of the report i.e. ‘Up to 2000 lines’ - therefore, everything else has been cut-off.

Can you please confirm whether this might be the case? (I mean, if this limiting configuration is in place)

I already raised the ticket to the support team but if the above makes sense, then I might edit the ticket to include it.

Hello ​@cferrer - The only reason some documents would not be shown in this case is if you do not have access to their corresponding Process Groups. Could you expand on the documents that you are aware are not in the report? e.g. are they in a single process/process group?

Uhmmm, should that be the case even if I’m the Promaster? Also, the process group where some of these documents pertain to is the one I have created for my project i.e. ‘Linking all our controlled documents from our DMS to Promapp’. This is, I have created a ‘documents only group’.

In saying that, some of the documents missing in the report pertain to that process group but some others are part of a different one so, the process group doesn’t seem to be the issue, but I might be wrong.

Some of the documents I’m referring to are simple forms we use for particular processes. Some others are checklists and even work instructions so, not a particular type of documents either i.e. there is not confidentiality involved.

Bottom line, I haven’t been able to find the pattern causing the problem.

I’ve tried earlier with documents that are only in Documents Only groups, as well as documents loaded with different types (some in custom named types), but I couldn’t find something specific that would cause them to excluded them from the report. At this point my suspicion is that it might have to do specifically with the documents in question, for which I would suggest dropping a message to support@nintex.com. That way it can be escalated to the right team, so we can have a look for an issue specific to those documents/your tenant.

Hi there,

I identified the same issue after starting my role, we were missing approx 1500 documents from the system report and Nintex offered a link which I use each week to run the report.

My case was actually escalated to the technical team but I’m yet to receive a resolution.

Once I do, I’ll share it with you all in case the same issue surfaces again in future.
