Nintex Workflow Error for SharePoint OnPremise Create an item and or Update items actions The query to field Author UserName is not valid.

When using SharePoint OnPremise "Create an item" and or "Update items actions", Nintex Workflow (previously Nintex Automation Cloud) returns this error: 

Received an error response from the connector: BadRequest, ResponseStatus: Completed - {"error":{"code":"-1, Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException","message":{"lang":"en-US","value":"The query to field 'Author/UserName' is not valid."}}}

Instructions 

1. Navigate to the Site Settings > Site Permissions. 
2. Click on the related User Group that you are using to create the SharePoint Connector in Nintex Workflow Cloud. 
3. Click Settings > List Settings. 
4. Click on 'Create column' to create 3 new columns. The columns have to be named "UserName", "FirstName", and "LastName". The type is "Single line of text" for all 3 columns.
