Workflow Fails Due to an Expired Connection

Workflow actions fail with "An unexpected error occurred on the connection." or "The SaaS provider cannot renew the access token , please re-authenticate the connection to renew the access token".

 

Instructions

Re-authenticate the connection to renew the access token. To do so:

 

  1. Navigating to Site Contents
  2. Select 'Nintex Workflow for Office 365'
  3. Connections
  4. Click on the ellipses next to your connection
  5. Select Edit
  6. Select 'Update credential details'

Once complete, the connection should begin working again without any additional modification to the impacted workflows.

Additional Information

It's expected for a connection to require re-authentication after an extended period of time (i.e. years)
