Workflow Designer for Office 365 Stuck on Connecting to Site for Public Website

Issue

On a public website (online), when opening the workflow designer it is stuck on loading "Connecting to site".

 

Resolution

Use a global admin account to make these changes:

  1. Switch the Public website to offline mode.
  2. Remove the app - Workflow for Office 365.
  3. Add the app back to the website - Work for Office 365.
  4. Enter the license key.
