Nintex form displays ID instead of value. I see the value when I preview as well as when I fill out the form. However, in the form, it shows up as an id. I found the same question asked but the solution provided is a short cut. I wanted to understand why it happened and how to fix it. Thank you.

The control on a form is set to display a dropdown based on a lookup field "Awards". What I am asking is to check how the lookup field in SharePoint is configured.

please check if your lookup field configuration on the list is set to display ex. Title not ID.
