I’m trying to validate the to see if the current user is an approver. Current User information does not display on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge in Edit Mode and it does not display in Text or Calculated Value field either. It does however, consistently display if I put it in a label but this does not help because I need it in a Text or Calculated Value field. Please assist.

Are you using the function from "Common" references as shown below? I am able to see the current user display name in a single line text box contorl in edit mode

Yes, I use the Common references to get the email address to populate the Calculated Value field as below. The "Current User Email" field shows empty value on the 2nd print screen.
