Hi

I’ve tried to set folio for parallel path task. Refer below:

I have two path, one is Technical, one is Marketing. Both uses different variable as stated above. However, when i open the worklist item from email, the two task shows same Folio (All referred to Technical).

How should i correct this so that the Assessment IOC Marketing’s Folio refers to as Marketing instead of Technical?

The folio is metadata at the workflow instance level and is usually used to identity the workflow instance.  Unfortunately, what you attempting to accomplish will not work with parallel path; it is likely that the last ‘set folio’ step that executed is what is resulting in the current workflow instance folio value.

Perhaps the Activity Name contains the metadata that you are looking for?

If you need to update the folio according to which task the workflow is on, it will likely need to be a sequential approval instead of parallel approval.

Or alternatively, in the parallel paths, you can spawn approval sub-workflow instances, in which case you can set the folio for each of those workflow instances.
