Hi tkunohim,

Currently this is being created for an upcomming release, you can upvote the feature on the Ideas Portal:

There are currently 2 possible solutions:

1) Use the legacy workflow designer:

http://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2five/userguide/5.1/content/legacydesigntools/workflow/build/workflow_start_options.htm

2) In your designer have a check right after the start to check for the values, if the check fails, then it ends the process

Sorry I did not make my question clearer. I'm looking for Setting up a Start Rule Condition like Step 2 according to the below article:
https://help.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2five/userguide/5.1/default.htm#legacydesigntools/workflow/build/workflow_start_options.htm

This is all I have in K2 Designer settings

Hi tkunohim,

Do you mean this step? Are you trying to set conditions on the "An item was updated" rule?

Gareth,

Yes but I have different look though. I don't have Step 3 which is Set Condition on the right side, if you look at my screenshot above, the only option I have is "An item was updated". I would like to configure so that only a list item was updated with condition such as its field Approval is checked then the workflow would start. Another word, if item was updated but Approval field is NOT checked then don't start the workflow.

I'm guessing we could do this with older version of K2 but not K2 Five?

Thanks Jean... that's what I ended up to do but workflow will still be started every time item updated. Just don't want to overload the server.

BTW, how do I get access to theĀ K2 Ideas Portal?

Hi Tkunohim,

Please register on the ideas portal site in order to gain access.

Kind Regards
