template selection based on conditions

Hi All,

 

I have a custom button for document generation and template is predefined there. I want to put a condition there and based on condition I want template to get selected automatically. How I can achieve this?

I don't know if you still need help with this but what I did was create a formula field that would calculate which template id was needed based on my conditions and then used the field name in the button instead of the hardcoded template id
