Improved way to Content Document from RunDocGen Package Apex action downstream in Flow

I am trying to improve an existing flow that leverages the RunDocGen Apex Action in flow. Specifically, I'd like a better way to get the newly created Content Document(s) and utilize downstream. What guidance can be provided on the appropriate pause such that my get records step doesn't query before the new document file has been created? Is there a platform event or something else I can queue on? Ideally, the action would have our new content document or CD link as an output. It appears that it does not.

My understanding is the package runs asynchronously and so I need some criteria or platform event to ensure we capture the content docs.
