Receiving an error entity type cannot be inserted: Document

 

Resolution

 

The user's profile does not have access to create a Document.

1. Navigate to Salesforce Setup > Manage Users > Profiles > Profile that is having the issue

2. Standard Object Permissions > Documents > Confirm that create is checked.

 

If permission sets are being utilized, check through the permission set to see if they have the create rights for the Document object.
