Overview This guide walks you through the steps to integrate DocGen for Salesforce with AgentForce, Salesforce’s AI-driven assistant. Troubleshooting to address common issues. Part 1: Use DocGen with Agentforce (End User Guide) 🎥 Video 1: Generate Documents with Agentforce What is Agentforce? Agentforce is Salesforce’s AI assistant that allows users to interact with their data through natural language commands. It can retrieve, update, and generate records—and now, thanks to DocGen for Salesforce, it can create automated proposals, contracts, and other documents directly from chat. How users generate documents Locate Agentforce Click the Agentforce button in the top right of Salesforce. The chat interface will open. Request a document Example: Type, "Create a proposal for this opportunity." Agentforce will recognize context and match your request with available DocGen Packages. If multiple document packages exist, Agentforce will ask which one to use. Confirm and generate When prompted, confirm the action ("Yes") to run the DocGen Package. Since DocGen is asynchronous, the document won’t appear instantly. Check Notes & Attachments after ~15-20 seconds. Key Features ✅ Understands context – Recognizes terms like "proposal" or "this opportunity." ✅ Smart Matching – Finds the best DocGen Package based on record type & document name.✅ Interactive – If multiple options exist, Agentforce asks users to choose.✅ Seamless experience – Works within the Salesforce user interface. With AI-driven efficiency, users can effortlessly generate their first process draft using a generative AI option. By leveraging the Process Summary and any additional instructions, this feature transforms a text-based prompt into a structured, well-documented first draft, providing a solid foundation for refining and finalizing processes. Key features and benefits: Built-in Nintex Best Practices - Every AI-generated process follows Nintex’s structured approach to ensure clarity, effectiveness, and consistency in documentation. Human in the Loop – While manual process creation remains an option, AI provides an efficient starting point. Users can refine and edit the AI-generated draft before publishing, blending automation with expert oversight. Regenerate and Refine – If the first draft doesn’t align with expectations, users can modify their prompt, add details, and regenerate the process. This flexibility allows for continuous refinement before finalizing and publishing. Data Privacy and Security Security remains a top priority. When generating a process, user data is securely passed to a large language model (LLM) with instructions to follow Nintex Best Practices. All data remains within Nintex-controlled environments, never leaving the Process Manager trust boundaries. Nintex does not collect prompt or process-specific data, nor is any data used to train the LLM.
