Code Fix: An error occurs in K2 for SharePoint Registration and Activation Wizards

Issue Description

When you attempt to run either the K2 for SharePoint Registration Wizard or the K2 for SharePoint Activation Wizard, an error occurs.

Error Message:

The following error occurs: “Parameter is invalid. Parameter value: '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000'

Parameter name: resourceId"”

Resolution

The fix is available in:

• K2 Five (5.4) March 2022 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 09.
• K2 Five (5.5) March 2022 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 11.
• K2 Five (5.3) January 2022 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 02.
• K2 Five (4.7) April 2022 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 02 .
• K2 Five (5.6) Fix Pack 01.
•  K2 Five (5.2) June 2022 Cumulative Update Fix Pack 01.

1. Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
2. Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
3. Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
4. Run the K2 for SharePoint Registration Wizard.
